100 Hikes / Travel Guide: Southern Oregon & Northern California

Sullivan has the best hiking books. I have several of the Oregon books. They are organized with reference pages by region, length of hike and difficulty, without too much information to have to peruse through.

Bill Sullivan's hiking books give perfect instructions on how to get to the trailhead and how to navigate the trail. I also love how he adds some history, names of flowers and trees you will see along the way. I don't use any other hiking books.

The directions for hikes are precise and informative. I had an older version, and now with this updated version, it makes it even easier to explore our great country! It says whether the hike is good for children, or even the most experienced hikers. Very useful. And super quick delivery. Thanks!

Awesome book! Very well written, easy to follow. It came highly recommended from all hiking clubs im associated with. Can't wait to get the other books in the series for the rest of Oregon!

Very impressed with this book. It was much more detailed than I expected. It has some beautiful colored photos in the beginning that even include photos of wildlife and wildflowers in the area. It also includes a lot of detailed information on camping and lodging in all the areas. There are also several maps included which show where all the hikes are located. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Very useful! We recently moved to S. Oregon and have used this book to find some local hikes. As someone with vertigo, my only request would be an indication of how narrow/steep the experience is. I drove out to a trail that runs along the Rogue River that turned out to be narrow and along the steep hills near the river and I couldn't do it.

Sullivan's guides are my go-to for hiking directions and inspiration. I don't make it to Southern Oregon very often but I'm glad to have this on hand for when I do. As with all of the 100 Hikes guides, I've found the Kindle version very easy to navigate and handy on the trail.

To 400 hikes of southern oregon. It has 100 hiking areas, and there are 1 to 4 hikes per area, with an additional 95 at the back of the book. I love this book. If you hike in southern Oregon, invest in this gem.
