My wife suffers from upper back / shoulder pain and the application of heat definitely eases the discomfort. Thus far she had been using one of those bean bag type things that you heat up in a microwave, and whilst effective, as you might expect the temperature isn’t constant and fades away fairly quickly. So, decided to buy this plug in shoulder blanket for some constant application of heat and I have to say she is very happy with it. The blanket itself has a good weighty feel which is never a bad thing and it has a nice well constructed fleecy finish. The power lead and attached hand control is also a very generous and practical 7 foot long give or take, the hand control providing an ample range of temperature settings. All things considered it had been a good buy and comes highly recommended.

Great to have different heats settings and timer settings. Ordered to help with a sore neck, although it doesn't quite cover the neck but great for shoulders and upper back :)

This has been a very good purchase for helping relieve pain I get regularly in the back of my neck and shoulders. I would normally put a hot water bottle on the back of my neck and move it around to different spots but this product puts an even heat all around the neck and shoulders and can alter the heat setting and shut off time with the handy control pad.The product is very good quality with soft comfortable material and weighted to allow it to mould close and snug to your body shape.

I am very pleased with this product. I have a rotary cuff should injury and I am finding that it is giving real relief. It is a little heavy but this is to be expected and once in place does not move about. Quality is great and I highly recommend purchasing.

There are several heat settings although I find setting 1 is best for me, also there are several time settings from 30mins going up in 30mins up to 9hours. It is quite weighty but not overly heavy and I find the warmth very comforting. I use it every day and it helps with the pain in my shoulders.

Neck & shoulder warmer arrived and is exactly as described. On the PLUS SIDE the HAND CONTROL (on the mains cable to electrical wall socket) was EXCELLENT offering several different levels of heat and variations. On the MINUS SIDE there are 3 MAIN/MINOR ISSUES : 1) that if/when sitting at home, say watching TV and you wish to go and make a cup of tea or go get a glass of wine or whatever, it is necessary to UNWRAP the WARMER and REMOVE IT COMPLTELY from your shoulders if i want to move to another room, WHY? because there is no intermediate cable connector (allowing disconnection) which would allow you to leaving the warmer on your shoulders whilst leaving the socket & main cable plugged in: surely a simple matter to resolve at very modest cost. 2) it is QUITE HEAVY at 2.2 Kg (?) which would be OK IF IT WAS CAPABLE OF BEING LEFT ON - I.E WORN AS NORMAL - with no "dangling" cable I.E. IF/WHEN UNPLUGGED FROM THE ELECTRICITY SOCKET - as described above). 3) the NECK FASTENING - this is by way of a VERY SMALL PRESS STUD. NOT GOOD !; THIS WOULD BE MUCH BETTER & EASIER TO FASTEN VIA A SIMPLE VELCRO FASTENING (EASY PEASY !)Another point - neither a plus or a minus - is that it is quite thick: very much suited to use whilst seated for quite a while in a heated room - possibly a little too thick for some people, especially in light of the lack of an intermediate connector on the cable (item 1) above).ALL THINGS CONSIDERED IT STILL SEEMS LIKE A DECENT WELL-MADE PRODUCT (pity about the lack of a an intermediate cable connector and a silly press stud neck strap - both which can be easily fixed by manufacturer
