Book was excellent. Detailed, logical but not book on earth could resolve the litany of failures in my example of what should have been Germany's finest.

Book has great diagrams. This is not a repair manual but a reference manual. My model is a 1998 A6 Quattro wagon. Several places, primarily in the electrical stuff, it misses my model or the picts do not show whats really in my car. Instance is there is no wiring diagram for the "1998 central locking system". Diagrams start with 1999. Also, no picts to show where windows system breakers are located for this model. A pict and diagram shows them to be under the drivers foot well, but after taking my panels off, its no where to be seen.Great introduction section in the beginning of the manual to discuss differences between models, years, and options. Good functional info on transmissions and engines there too.So far, its the best there is out there, but as most all these type books, they fall short. It is worth it for the info and diagrams it does contain.

This is an essential tool for any person that wants to work on his/her Audi C5. This a quality publication with clear diagrams, photographs, and text. It is expensive, but it's the only game in town if you need documentation of your Audi A6; and if you're going to work on it, you need documentation, believe me. Using this manual takes some study, especially when it comes to the wiring diagrams, which are the primary reason I bought it. The wiring diagrams are very detailed and are in a format that is new to me. I had to study them thoroughly before I understood them well enough for them to be helpful to me.I recommend this book to anyone who needs it, because there is no alternative. It is a bad idea to try to work on an Audi without this tool.

Fairly comprehensive....but covers too much on other versions of the A6 and not as much as I'd hoped on just the core version. However, since I paid just over half the retail price...it was money well spent. I've recently discovered there is a repair version on disk only that might be more suited to what I was interested in.

Needed a manual for my 2005 Audi Allroad, but got a lot of run around online. Finally I decided to purchase a manual that somewhat covers my car. I was in it mostly for the electrical drawings and although it does not specifically cover my car, for other things such as part location, it was adequate for finding where the crankshaft sensor was located. I had to follow the connector for the sensor down to behind the engine, feeling my way until I felt what I thought was the sensor. So it served its purpose.

Great manual with all the information you need. I like having the torque specs the most and all the fluid capacities. Wiring diagrams are very useful as well. Although, most of the information in this manual can be found online with a little time spent researching.Its worth the money if you want an extra resource for fixing your car.

I have found this manual to be very complete and have found its procedures and explanations to be more than adequate. The diagrams and photos are comprehensive in detail. That being said, this is not an easy book to use. It assume that the user has some automotive skills and knows his way around a car. If you are serious about working on your A6, this is the manual to get.

Good for general knowledge of my Audi, I do a lot of my own mechanical and service work and this manual does a good job of explaining and illustrating the basics. I have used it several times and am satisfied with it.

Sadly actually has misinformation regarding cam timing on my Quattro V8 4.2. It's 15 teeth one side and 16 on the other, not what this book says. Very disappointing. Lacks huge amounts of detail.

A must have manuel for any RS6 C5 owner it has saved me hundreds and hundreds of pounds
