One World: 30th Anniversary Special Edition

Gift for grandchildren. Good talking point for conversation about the world.

Great picture book to raise awareness of the fragility of our planet and how we all have a part to play. The children loved it and it brought up lots of discussion.

I looked through this book and it looks amazing, a story and a learning book all in one. The artwork is particualrly good. A gift.

Bought because Michael Foreman's "Dinosaurs and all that rubbish" is my daughters favourite book.Although I don't think this book is as good as that one, it is still beautifully illustrated and has a lovely message.Great for teaching stewardship and messages on littering/recycling.I would DEFINITELY suggest that anyone buying this also purchase the aforementioned book as it is gold!

One world is about a boy and a girl who went to the beach and made an aquarium. They had a fish in it and water out of the sea. Oil leaked into the sea and everything died. They put everything back and the water turned normal again.I enjoyed it because I liked the part where they made the aquarium because they made it like the real sea.I think children between 4 and 7 will like it.
