Works like a charm!
I used this to connect an old, but high quality speaker, to a new flat screen tv. The audio out on the speaker has a 3.5mm jack, while the new flat screen utilizes an optical audio port. This inexpensive cable prevented me from having to go out and spend a lot of money on a sound bar! (although I may still buy one 😁)

Bring on the karaoke!
Worked like a charm to hook up my karaoke machine to my tv. Highly recommend! The signal quality was perfect. Packaged neatly as well. The make is high quality. Very easy to install, I did it without my tech husband’s help, which says something!

Not worth what I paid
These don’t work. The original cable product (about 10 yrs old) worked fine until dog used it for chewing. Tried two other network players on two different networks still doesn’t work. No replacement unless it is the original unit.

Worked for me!
I was able to connect my desktop computer speakers to my tv using the optical out slot on the back of the tv! Just gotta make sure the usb is powered with a block.

Works with LG OLED TV and 2003 Sony stereo.
Works fine connecting to my old Sony stereo. Only problem is to turn the TV on first. Otherwise there is a medium pop sound as the TV powers up.
