Versatility makes it a good value. Easy to jazz it up with accessories you probably already have.
I'm thrilled with this costume!QUALITY: It's about the quality I expect from mass-produced costumes that come in plastic bags, which makes the $40 price tag merely acceptable, not impressive. The stitching and construction are a little shoddy in places, and the material is fairly thin. Don't worry, it's not transparent; just don't expect it to keep you warm. On the upside, the wrinkles come out easily with a toss in the dryer on medium-low heat, and the skirt and cape catch a lot of air and flow beautifully when you move.SIZING AND LENGTH: The dress is stretchy and roomy in the chest. I typically wear a size 10 dress, and the size Medium fits well, although with a C cup I'm just barely filling out the bust. I'm quite narrow-waisted, and given how stretchy the fabric is, I feel like I even would have been able to fit into a Small, so these must simply run a little big. I'm 5'11" and the Medium just barely goes all the way to the floor.USE: The best thing about this costume is its versatility. As a full-length gown, you would probably feel comfortable wearing this to a work function or around children, but you can hitch the skirt up a bit and add some knee-high boots and stockings if you want to play up the sex appeal in a different environment. The lace-front corset is flattering, especially if you have an hourglass shape to begin with.ACCESSORIZING: There are a few easy things you can do to take this costume from "oh hey nice costume" to "WOW."1) Wear knee-high black boots.2) There's a little red fabric rosette on the corset, right at mid-bust. Snip it off. It's the only thing on the costume that's red-red instead of blood-red, and it looks cheap and out of place.3) Add some black gloves with lace-up detail. I found the perfect ones on Prime for $4.4) Find a black and/or red embellished brooch or pendant at a thrift shop or antique store, or buy the materials at a craft store and make your own. Clip this on to the ties of the cape, right at your neck, and cut off the cape ties or pin them out of the way. Your cape now has a dazzling choker effect, and the embellishment makes up for the lost rosette from the bust.5) Forget the useless ribbons that are built in to tie the skirt up on one side (as pictured). The skirt bunches up in an unflattering manner and adds bulk to your hips when you tie it that way. Do this instead: with the skirt hanging at full length, keep your legs straight and bend over to grab a pinch of fabric at each knee with each hand. Keeping the skirt fabric taut horizontally between your hands, pull it straight up and pin your pinches, one on each side, under the black flap of the corset top, right at the hips. TA-DA! You've magically created a trendy hi-low hem, which will show a little leg while it's pinned yet fall right back down to a conservative skirt whenever you wish to unpin it. (Play with the length; you may wish to grab lower or higher than the knee, depending on how the dress hangs on you and how much leg you want to show.)6) If you're feeling bold in the makeup department, attempt a paw-swipe of bloody claw marks across your face or neck.7) Two words: red lipstick.I give a wholehearted recommendation of this product to people about my age - late 20s, early 30s - who want to have fun in a flattering costume on Halloween but have outgrown (or, ideally, never even entered) the typical X-rated costume phase. This is a fun one. I'll be keeping it around to wear again next year and/or loan out to friends.

Don't Give This Purchase a Second Thought
Dont think twice about buyig this costume; do yourself a favor and just order it now! You will not be disappointed. The costume is very well-made. The material feels like most other costume fabric, sort of polyester-y but is not sheer at all. The bodice is very well constructed. The cups are shirred so theyre roomy enough for ample chests. Plus, the ruffle-trimmed neckline is elasticized for a better fit. The lacing is adjustable, too. Like others have already mentioned, there is no slit in the skirt, only a ribbon(skirtchaser) to hike up your skirt but it looks awkward. Unless you dont mind a ton of bunched up fabric near your hip, youre better off just wearing the skirt completely down. Which is probably why the costume is modeled with the skirt being held up rather than tied up. The cut and drape of the cape is perfect. It lays beautifully across yourshoulders without slipping off or sliding. The color is a deep burgandy red which I think is perfect if youre going for a dark, gothic or haunted fairytale vibe. For reference, Im 5"3, 125lbs, 34DD-28-38. I ordered a Small and it fit beautifully. The cape drags a bit but the dress is the perfect length just grazing the floor in bare feet. The bodice is not over-revealing. There is no booby spillage. However, I did have to tighten the "corset" lacing as far as it would go to give the torso a more defined fit. Overall, Im really happy with the purchase and would recommend this costume to everyone!

Perfect costume great fit
Love the costume! First people say there is no split but it has red ribbon to tie the side up so look like a split. Second top has no support and is low BUT I got red bra and it looks part of the costume. I'm size D cup. I am happy with the costume since I'm a little bigger and dress a bit more conservative and this was least too much and still sexy.

Love it! Size down.
The quality is what I expected. A little thin but still decent quality even for a one time use Halloween costume. I usually wear size 12 or 14 pants and I’m a 36DD so I'm around 42" bust - 34" waist - 43" hip. The XL is loose everywhere on me so plenty of room for my girls and hips! If I had more time I would have sized down to L. Luckily the corset strings are adjustable annd can be used to enhance your waist. I'm 5'4 and this is long on me so I wore heels.

An Okay costume
An Okay looking costume.Looks different than the picture. I was disappointed that there is no slit in the front. The picture makes it look that way by how the model is holding up the dress. Also, the seller only shows one image of this dress. The back of it is just red. Soft, flexible Black Corest part is only sewn onto front. Reminds me more of a Renaissance look. If that's the look you're seeking, very pretty costume.Although, I ordered and am still waiting on another "red riding hood" costume from different brand and seller... If that one doesn't work, it's nice to know this one is a good back up.I am 5ft 3in, I usually wear a size 6-8. I ordered a large because I am larger in the chest 36DD. The large fit okay in the chest, but I think I would of been fine with a medium. The length is good with a short high heel.

This costume is was great!!
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely loved it! Sexy but not overly sexy. Just the right amount. People knew who we were as the big bad wolf and little red riding hood. Super cute couples costume Idea. My man loved being the wolf.
