This is much smaller than I expected. I felt the dimensions given reflected the box size. The castle is a few inches long but really low. It's height comes from the pointed cone shaped roof on top of very low towers. My Daughter likes it. Personally I will not be buying any more.

I'm not normally one to write reviews but I love this Hogwarts castle. It maybe be small but it has a nice amount of detail, looks lovely lit up and it has a good weight to it too. I saw people had problems attaching the small pieces to the castle, but luckily I had no issues with that. Highly recommend if your a Harry Potter fan!

It's OK, but really, £8.49?? Ordered July 5th, arrived October 22nd. Took so long that I forgot that I'd even ordered it. Like other reviews (which I really wish that I had read first), the two tower-roof pieces which are pretty tiny are rather flimsy and clearly extremely easy to break. The larger piece balances (so will have to be stuck) but the smaller piece (which is extremely poorly moulded) just about slotted in place, but barely. The base itself is made of quite substantial resin, so it's a shame that the other bits are so rubbish. There are 3 flickering orange LEDs, one in the tower and two in courtyards. For some reason, this is listed on the box as a 'deluxe maga kit'. Deluxe, certainly not. Mega, erm, no. Kit, well, laughable really. Not suitable for any child due to the tiny choking hazard parts and certainly not a toy. An expensive (relatively speaking) stocking filler for an adult HP fan but only looks like a £2.99 item at best. Shame, as such potential for this to be pretty stunning if better moulded and painted.

This product is perfect for any Harry Potter fan. Great to have alongside work area (computer etc) or on a shelf.

Not sure why this product has such poor reviews. I received it today and it is very well-made, even more so than other Running Press items. It feels like it's made from a durable, heavy resin material. It is detailed excellently, with fine details of the interior and exterior of the Castle present. And it even lights up with a bright, flickering amber LED.The castle comes with two additional pieces which must be added onto the castle roof. They are easy to put on, and are secure enough for collectors, or for toy buyers, a small amount of glue should set them in place fine.Overall, very happy with my purchase. A must have for all Potter fans!
