20 Acrylic Yarn Skeins - 438 Yards Multicolored Yarn in Total – Great Crochet and Knitting Starter Kit for Colorful Craft – Assorted Colors

I volunteered to teach crochet to my son's 2nd grade class and I wanted to provide all the necessary supplies so the students would be able to take them home and continue practicing outside of class. I had intended to go through my home stash of yarn, but given the diversity in the class I thought it would be better to have a wide range of colors for the students to choose from. This set was the PERFECT solution! The yarn is high enough quality that it's easy for the kids to work with but cheap enough that it won't break the bank. The colors are bright and vibrant and the kids really love being able to choose a few colors they love. The skeins are small, but just the right size for a small beginner project (we're doing bracelets). Unless you do complex amigurumi where you need a tiny amount of a lot of different colors, I don't see this being practical for everyday use, but for learning you really can't beat the deal.

They are a very nice quality. The skeins were smaller than expected but I still would buy again

I do not recommend this yarn. First of all the colors are very similar and you don’t have much variation. Secondly, the yarn is so small, one roll can fit in your hand. There are ULTRA MINI!!!!It also looks like the yarn would split if you tried to crochet with it. However the yarn is pretty soft. But, I do not think this is worth the money.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My husband bought me this as a surprise gift. He thought they were bigger, but I helped him understand the difference. I was happy to receive these, there's a good variety of colors! Hoping to crochet with them soon because currently I can't comment on the strength of the yarn. I would say it's a good value as far as price goes. Great set for making little amigurumi plushies! Will to update once I use them...
