L'Oréal Paris Double Extend Eye Illuminator Mascara, Black Copper, 0.4-Fluid Ounce

I tested this out by putting it on before going to grocery store. OMG!!! Talk about a self image boost! I'm not used to getting noticed at the store. I had 4 guys stop me to compliment my eyes. 2 of them asked for my phone number. lol This was in the middle of a sunny day. I have yet to test it out night time. At first, I felt like the copper minimized my eyes by making the lashes a lighter color. That proved to not be the case at the store. These men could not get over how blue they were. It's very beautiful. You can layer the copper on heavy or light. The day I tested it, I just wore one layer of copper from root to tip over the black mascara. I will definitely be purchasing this again. Also, the black mascara is fairly lengthening and thickening. That part is not super dramatic. If you're going for a dramatic night time look or going on cam, I would use a more lifting, volumizing mascara as your base and then just layer the copper part over that.

This is good mascara. The base coat is black so if you don't choose to add the sparkly copper topcoat, you still look made-up (as opposed to the similar products whose base coats are white and need the black topcoat to look human). It won't rub off and goes on without clumping. Stays smudge- sweat- and tear-proof until your next shower, where it comes off clean and easy under the warm water.

The shimmer part of the mascara, that’s supposed to bring out your eye color, barely even comes off onto your lashes. Let alone even shows up. The black part of the mascara is only even ok. Hugely disappointed and would never buy again. Especially at this insane cost for a mascara. Was also very dry and barely any product came off onto the lashes. Don’t buy!!

Not their best mascara. Voluminous is much better. It’s not terrible but doesn’t make lashes look as long as others, and can’t really see the copper color on lashes.

Mascara wand separates lashes giving a full look to your eyes. The bronze mascara on the other end adds a sparkle.

I originally purchased this in local retail stores, but it was suddenly not available anywhere except online. The mascara brush alone would make this an awesome find, but...there's more. The sparkly second coat, while practically unnoticeable once applied, really makes my hazel eyes pop like nothing I've ever used. Highly recommend!

I love it because it's discrete but you can still notice it. I'm a teacher and many students asked my if I have sparkles on my lashes. I'm really sad it has been discontinued.... I only use the sparking side, I use my regular mascara for the black.

I got this because I have been looking for lighter mascara for redheads. I think this product is likely discontinued and probably just old. The tube I got was dried out with very little product on the copper side, and even what little is in there doesn’t cling to my eyelashes. Total waste of money. Tossing it in the trash. Oh well.
