Thetford 35831 Electra Magic Toilet

Functions as claimed. No odors! I was very skeptical about no odors, chemical or otherwise. I placed the unit in a small conversion trailer took off for a week of fishing in the summer heat of Utah, Wyoming & Montana and all went well. Item had one minor defect I discovered after 30 days but Thetford sent a replacement part in 5 days. Nice!

Just like everyone else the first one came broken. Unbelievable. Does Thetford want to go out of business??

Ordered in total ,two toilets (both received with broken plastic parts), I could spend the rest of the summer finding a replacement as amazon no longer sells this unit. But as I'm 79 (80 in July) , this may be one of my few camping years remaining. So a little plastic glue what the H.... its only a $550 toilet

The first two came in broken and the last one was missing the install kit. I decided to keep the third one because this is a replacement and I could get by without the kit. Packing by the manufacturer isn't up to the handling it's getting during shipping.

Toilet was just as I expected except it was not plumbing ready for the motor home. I didn't realize there was a free standing model and a hooked up model.

Just received my order & as you can see the seat is broken where the pins fit & the left & right hinge is broken
