I experience seborrheic dermatitis, and my scalp is nearly always having issues. I get these painful sores and really wanted to try this for awhile to see if it would hell at all, and I found that it did. Now, it did not cure it, but it does help to soothe and manage the pain. It’s instant relief for my scalp. I use it by combing through my hair in a grid pattern with it, massaging along the way and it just feels so good. It’s like putting aloe on a sunburn kind of good. My one complaint is the scent. I find that it doesn’t really have one. I’m a huge fan of eucalyptus scents and kind of sad it didn’t have more of a scent. But, I’m glad I decided to try this. It does leave a bit of white residue on my black hair, but it’s not too bad.

I love this product. I use it at least once a week. I wear my hair braided, and change them every seven weeks. So in between my seven week hair wash, this product keeps my scalp clean, and no itching.

Detoxify Tonic - this is not an oil. Took the wrap off, removed lid and the seal was actually broken and just laying on top and leaking in the cap and on top the seal. This product isn't for everyone. After looking through products recommended for locs I came across this and it had good reviews. I've never bought this brand before but it is highly coveted. I got this for occasional dry, scaly dandruff in areas. I read on its Amazon description "cleanses braids and locs between washes; Helps reduce dandruff, dermatitis and psoriasis." No where in the bottle does it say that. I needed to test it first. It made my scalp itchy & irritated - my scalp had neither before using this. My scalp felt better before using this. I had a few minor flakes prior, but there's a light dusting of tiny flakes from this. Looking at the ingredients, it doesn't smell that good, but I've another tonics that's natural it wasn't that fragrant either. The next day my scalp was still itchy & made dandruff worst - areas with small white patches that wasn't there before. This isn't for me. Listen to your scalp. Have to return it, I can't use it.
