eufy Security Smart Lock C30, Keyless Entry Door Lock, Built-in Wi-Fi

We’ve purchased two of these and are quite happy. The only struggles installing were due to the age of our home - the bolt is larger than our old locks and requires some additional wood to be chiseled out of the door jamb to allow proper function. Not the locks fault and makes me feel like it is a better quality lock, just wanted to call that out. Integrated seamlessly with the eufy home app. We love being able to unlock the door from the car when we’ll have groceries or something, or when it is raining so you don’t have to stand outside any longer than needed. Also allows remote unlocking - a family member stopped by the house when we were at work and we could simply lock and unlock for them from another city. Comes with physical keys as well so you have a backup. For the door that gets the most use, the batteries last a few months and you have tons of notice when it is time to replace them. Have never had an issue where we were locked out because the battery died, and even if you did you still have the physical keys. You can set up to 8 digits for the code, which I like. The buttons have held up well and the locks still look good a year later after install.

If you are tired of your adhd husband leaving the front door unlocked when he leaves for work before the sun comes up, this will solve all your problems. I no longer wake up angry and ready to start an argument about him inviting robbers in the house while I sleep. I was able to set up auto lock for the hours I know that he would be leaving and arriving home. Features I love are that you can unlock it remotely from anywhere (great for letting house sitters in and out), you can set up codes for all members of the family so you know who unlocked the door and at what time, you can set up notifications for when it was unlocked (perfect for toddlers that want to run for the horizon as soon as you close the bathroom door). The only complaint I have is that the battery life is lacking. In 4 months we have had to change the batteries twice already and this thing takes a lot of batteries!

Another feature I really like is being able to add multiple users and customize their access. You can give different people their own codes, which is great for family members or guests, and it’s easy to manage through the app. Installation was pretty straightforward as well. As long as you follow the instructions step by step, it’s not difficult to set up. Overall, it’s a reliable smart lock with good connectivity, a solid app, and useful access controls.

Haven't even had it a year and the lock won't work with alexa anymore, nore will it lock or unlock with the app at times. Battery low alert has never worked.

I purchased four of these Eufy Smart Lock C30 locks and overall I’m very happy with them. The keypad entry is extremely convenient, installation was straightforward, and the app works well. It’s nice not having to worry about carrying keys all the time, and the locks look sleek and modern on the doors. My only wish is that all four locks could use the same physical key. Since each lock has a different key, it may be difficult and expensive to find someone to rekey them all alike. Other than that, these locks have been reliable and easy to use. Great smart lock system overall!

Great budget lock! We have had a touchpad Quikset deadbolt for many years that finally gave out. I think 10+ years of my boys yanking on it was finally enough. It thought it was locked when it was unlocked and vice versa. It had a good run. Thank you for your service. I shopped around a bit and wanted something secure but simple, high tech but affordable...and this Eufy seemed to fit the bill. We used to have an automatic vacuum from Eufy and it worked like a champ. So I had some brand familiarity and comfort with Eufy. This was a super easy install. It doesn't come with a full instruction manual so you have to scan a QR code to get to it. No biggy. It was all super intuitive and everything worked as stated. I did have to chisel out the recess where the deadbolt itself sits in the side of the door. But that was no biggy. Five minutes with a hammer and chisel after making a new outline with a pencil. Wifi integration was a snap through the app and so far everything is great. I've got it integrated with my google home and it seems to be running perfectly. Thanks Eufy for another great product!

When my very loud Kwikset 99140-024 started to disconnect daily, I found myself in the market for a new smart lock. Without doing much research, I purchased the Veise VE012W-K. I tried to install it over the weekend and had nothing but problems with the app and the device connecting to my wifi. Unfortunately, Veise does not have technical support over the weekend which I find quite odd as that is when I would think many are taking on projects like this. After killing most of my Saturday trying to get the Veise to work, I finally gave up and ordered eufy C30 for next day delivery on Amazon. I already had the eufy C210 for my back door and found it to be reliable, easy to setup and it worked seamlessly with Alexa. Since the new lock was for my front entry, I wanted a lock with a more traditional look, with actual buttons on the keypad. The C30 fit the bill quite nicely. I was amazed on how quick and simple the install and app setup was. I did not time it, but I am confident it took less than 5 minutes. Oh, I forgot to mention that the lock was on sale for under $70!!!! With other locks going for north of $200, this is an absolute steal. This lock does not have a fingerprint reader, but that was not something I thought I would use anyway. It has all the features I wanted as someone who had a lock for Kwikset smart lock for years. I already mentioned that the Kwikset was LOUD, but this lock is whisper quiet. I would highly recommend this smart lock!

Great product. Makes entry and exit +locking) quick and painless. Love being able to unlock with a code vs. key, and being able to lock the door with a single keypress. The internet connectivity is great for checking whether the door is locked or unlocking for a guest/etc. I'm giving 4 stars only because of poor battery life. I've used lithium batteries in it and still only get a few months before I have to change the batteries again. The batteries can die quickly, so if you use this on a property you don't use daily (ex. Vacation or second property), the batteries can die and lock you out of you don't always carry a physical key.

I recently purchased the Eufy Smart Lock, and I have been extremely impressed with its performance. The lock is not only easy to install, but it is also very user-friendly when it comes to connecting it to the Eufy app and my home internet. One minor suggestion I have for the future is for the Eufy app to display the battery life of the lock. It would be helpful to know when the battery is running low so that I can replace it on time. As of now, I often find myself concerned that the battery might run out, and I could potentially be locked out of my home. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the Eufy Smart Lock and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and convenient home security solution.

It's very good I'd say. Easy to use. But it lost marks because the battery is not really good. I understand you're paying for the smart functions but dang. I thought perhaps it can add more batteries in etc. And not change it too often. I'd still recommend this product tho!

After three months of continual use the unit would lock as normal, give the confirmation beep of successful lock, then it would beep two additional times and the lock button would turn red. This was my indication to change the batteries which is an awesome feature. It may have said it in the pamphlet, if I read it, and I always wondered about it. App use is excellent for unlocking the door remotely from the car or wherever or whenever I need. Helps with carrying in grocery to not fumble with keys at the door. Keypad is responsive and the option to enter random numbers before and after the code provides a great piece of mind. One of my better purchases ever.
