Q: Can this be used for dipping chicken, steak or fries into it?? As a dipping sauce instead of grilling with it?

Well, let me put it to you like this - it's a thick, sweet tangy sauce with a lip-smacking taste that can be used easily as a dipping sauce or basting it on chicken when you grill it. Personally, I would never put it on a steak I was grilling, but I suppose it would work as a dipping sauce (I prefer A-1). On fries, it's a matter of taste. I know grilling shrimp and putting a light baste on it just prior to turning it the last time is a move from Heaven! It's, as I said, a thick, sweet sauce with just a hint of book hickory and bourbon. It's a delight to the palate and can be used when grilling other things or as a side with smoked meats like brisket, beef bologna, sausages, etc. Well worth the price, as are all their products. Enjoy! I do!

Q: What happened to sauce i used to buy in the grocery store? $15 is a rediculous price.

I agree, price is ridiculous! Thanks to a previous suggestion, I too just bought this at ShopRite for $3.99.

I can't find anywhere. It was common on our military base and other grocery stores. Can't find in Melbourne, Fl

There is no taste of alcohol. My description of this BBQ sauce is "Superb"! My family and I are extremely happy with this product. I hope you are as satisfied , as well, if you purchase it!
