I just needed a way to upload pictures to my son's laptop, and it worked well for that purpose. I don't need the headphone jack, so I can't say how well that part works.

I did not experience the problems mentioned by other reviewers. There is no clicking or Audio distortion when using the audio port while charging. I am guessing that issue could be due to bad power source or lighting cable. Still a good professional DAC should be able to reject such interferences. Tested audio quality by playing high quality tracks that I use for DJ’ing. The audio quality is good even when connected to a professional DJ system where any audio issues will be more noticeable. The file transfer works fine.Considering the price tag, this is good buy.

I saw this similar device on IG on how to store your photos/videos and decided to buy something similar. Just plus this to your phone, plug a usb to the device, open your pictures and send it into the usb. Super easy to use and works! I’ve heard too many horror stories about lost photo/video. Definitely a must if you have kids.; those pictures/videos are precious.

This adapter works as it was intended. While the audio isn't great, it's adequate for what I need, and it's convenient to be able to charge and plug in headphones at the same time. The USB reader works too, but if you don't need it, there are less expensive options without the reader.

3.5mm adapter works, right up until you plug in a lightning cable to charge in addition, at which point it starts emitting a rhythmic click. It turns out, this is the sound of audio shuffling between the headphones and the lightning port, making audio basically impossible to listen to, as it cuts out completely for an entire second every other second.Housing is made of cheap hollow plastic with a slim connector cable. I refuse to believe these a re MFI certified.

Works perfectly. I Use this with my ipad. works to add a usb microphone , or audio interface with garage band , and be able to charge at the same time. two thumbs way up.

The media could not be loaded. This adapter has a lightning wire to plug into your iPhone/iPad. It has a port for power, USB, and a 3.5 mm cable.It DOES have the ability to mount a thumb drive - even when not powered.It does NOT have the ability to mount a larger, corded 2 TB external hard drive. I own adapter off Amazon that do have the ability to mount these kind of drives, but this one can't - even when powered. I had hoped to keep this in the other vehicle we have for the purpose of migrating videos from the drive to the Files App on the iPad. But not with the drives I have.So, depending on your purposes, this may be exactly what you want. For me, it can't hold up to the workload I have for it.
