As a basil lover, this thing scratches my itch. Easy to set up, easier to use, it grows enough basil in a month for us to eat a lot of pesto. I also use it for winter greens. Don't over think it. Just keep the water tank filled, feed your plants when the lightning top indicates it's time to do so and enjoy. Great price, easy and it works.

Works great, but just know how it’s presented in the product photos might not be realistic. While it might be somehow possible to grow things as large as presented, I found that it’s not really how I found myself using this. This product is excellent for starting seeds and getting them to germinate into nice small plants. From there, I transplant them into roughly 4” diameter pots and keep those on a shelf with grow lights. After maybe 3 months, I finally move the potted plants into a back yard garden. Trying to actually grow plants as large as pictured is sort of impossible because of crowding on top and below, where the roots would get all tangled and probably just end up breaking the pump. That said, your experience can vary significantly depending on what you plan to grow. Smaller herbs might work well in something like this for their full lifetime, but I have serious doubts about growing a full salad’s worth of plants in this device, which is practically what they present in the photos. That said, all the competition seems to have similar photos, so it almost feels like you can’t count this against them. It’s also possible that it really does work to grow things that big in it, and that I just never gave it a chance, but it felt like it just wasn’t going to be wise to let it all become a tangled mess. All that aside, I am very glad I made this purchase. It ended up inspiring a whole hobby I never imagined myself being so interested in. We have lots of lovely greenery around our home, and I feel it changed my perspective and gratitude towards food and plants in general. 😊

I purchased a smaller growing system and was so impressed at the growth rate, I wanted a larger model and this one fit the bill! The kit came with all of the growing materials and great instructions, although you do need to supply your own seeds. The motor in this model is very quiet, which is nice when it is working at night.

Easy to use and working great so far on my first time using. Its a fair price for what it is. And i am enjoying watching plants and veggies grow.

We bought for our 5 year old grandson who loves to garden with his Nana and he loves it. When he opened the box on Christmas morning he just set it aside. His mind was focused on toys and games. When I opened the boxes the next day and he and I put it together he was focused on this great kit. He was asking a million questions and then explained to us how it worked. Our grandson has autism and ADHD and it can be hard to get him focused on things unless he sees the fun and understands what the end results will be. This is perfect for children and adults alike. He is learning how to set up and care for fruits and vegetables which not only increases his knowledge but, also improves his attention and patience.

I bought this hydroponic grower to keep my gardening hobby alive while living and traveling full-time in our RV, and it has been a fantastic addition. Size: The compact size is the biggest selling point for anyone with limited space. It fits perfectly on our small countertop without feeling intrusive, which is exactly what we needed for the RV. Set-up: It was fairly easy to put together. The initial setup and figuring out the pods took just a few minutes. The instruction manual is clear and provides more detailed guidance for the specific needs of different seeds and plants you might want to grow. Functionality & Ease of Use: Once it's set up, it's very straightforward to use. The system does its job well, and it's been a low-maintenance way to have fresh herbs and greens on the road. My only disappointment, and the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is that it doesn't come with any seeds. Since it's marketed as a starter kit, I really expected a small assortment of seeds to be included so I could get growing right out of the box. Aside from that small issue, I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a compact, easy-to-use indoor garden.

The Ahopegarden is very affordable and has an easy setup and a straightforward design. The Ahopegarden is a great garden for beginners in Hydroponics. I have noticed very fast growth in my Okra plants that I planted the first week in Oct. 2025 great growth in under thirty days. I have shared a few photos showing different stages in growth progress.

This growing system looks amazing. I just bought it and am waiting to see how well the plants grow. The size and ease of use fit perfectly for what I was looking for. If all goes well, I plan on purchasing more units in the future. Once they get going I will update if allowed. I did soak my seeds overnight and carefully followed the planting instructions provided. I chose this particular system because other systems I looked at didn't show any actual growth (before/after) video reviews. Anyone can open a box and set up a system; it is easy. Show me growth and functionality. Update: Everything spouted as you can see in the picture. I was disappointed that I put too many seeds in one pod. I recommend just one and save your seeds for another planting. My plants are now about 5 inches tall except for a few slower growing herbs.
