Don't knock it until you try it
I've been using this amplifier for a couple of weeks now, and I can confidently say that my initial skepticism was misplaced. The unit is about the size of a book, easy to assemble, and packs a lot of power. I'm currently using a 36V 8A power supply, although a 10A would be preferable; nevertheless, it works wonders. At the moment, I'm running two full-range 8" speakers—one for each channel—along with a tweeter for both. For the subwoofer connection, I'm using a 350W RMS 12". The clarity of sound through the Bluetooth feature is amazing. I wouldn't dare turn it up to its fullest potential for fear of damaging my eardrums or the subwoofer. It's worth noting that the amplifier is somewhat fragile since it is just a board amplifier, but as long as you handle it with care and avoid dropping it, I believe it will last for many more weeks to come. I've successfully tested the speaker outputs with both 4-ohm and 8-ohm loads, yielding excellent results. For the subwoofer output, I've conducted extensive testing and have run loads of 1 ohm, 2 ohm, 4 ohm, and 8 ohm—all without affecting the amplifier's performance, and there has been no overheating or activation of the protection circuit.

Impressed
This little amp rocks even at only 24 volts. Amazing tech to this old timer. One star off for "Thud" noise on power off.

Almost a great class D amp
Sounds great, especially at this price point. Very easy to put together and set up. 2 issues:1) There's a very noticeable whine when connected via Bluetooth. Enough to drive me nuts if no music is playing. You likely won't notice it if music is playing though.2) The smartphone app isn't usable on Android. The app requires certain phone permissions that likely don't exist anymore due to security updates. Without being able to set permissions correctly, my phone can't even connect to this amplifier. Not a dealbreaker issue, but I was hoping to use the equalizer.

A lot of power in a small package!
I'm an electrical engineer and I was skeptical about the listed power, and for sure, the specs are way too high on the listing. However, you can expect at least 250W from the sub (2 ohm) and 150W from the satellites. They list the max voltage to be 36v but after looking at the TPA3255 datasheet, which can handle over 50v, and then at the other components, there is a 12v buck converter that can handle 40v. So the listing should be 40v max.I've hooked up a 41v Li-Ion power tools battery to it and it works fine.I hooked up my oscilloscope to it, and one of the problems is when it gets within about 4v of the rail (battery high side) then it starts to distort visually pretty ugly at the peaks, however, I even drove the subwoofer into slight and occasional heavy clipping and audibly, it didn't sound very distorted, probably bc of the oscillating nature of the waveform when it clips, it doesn't flat line like a Class AB amp would.I'm not planning on driving the sub into clipping, but I'm quite impressed with the amount of power this has.The sub gain and crossover is quite useful along with the treble and bass knob, which seems to only affect the satellites, which is nice.I'm planning on using this to build a portable, 40v battery operated, bluetooth loudspeaker for going to the beach or camping. It'll be small, powerful and I'll be able to connect any subwoofer to it and get reasonably loud. I'm currently planning on using a small SevenTour 8 inch subwoofer I got on Vines as well to have a power house portable hand held system.Well done designers.1 thing I need to mention is they're coupling the 2ch output for the sub through independent inductors, instead of combining the outputs together into 1 larger inductor. They still use a single capacitor, but I thought arrangement was odd they way they used the same size inductors as the satellites. However, after looking at it on the scope, the 2 output switch at the same time together and the current from both inductors combine together at the capacitor.

Excellent sound
I had an old 5.1 theater system that no longer works, but the speakers and woofers are still good. So, I ordered this Hosyond TPA3255 Bluetooth 5.1 Power Amplifier, which works perfectly. I was able to connect my speakers, bass, and woofers to it, and now I have an amazing theater system that I can control directly with my phone. I can listen to all the music on my phone through Bluetooth connectivity. The setup was effortless, and the price is very affordable—a better option than buying a new home theater system. I definitely recommend it.
