Used this with several GOPROS, ( 11s, 12s and 13s). It worked constantly well with each. Set-up was straightforward but requires a basic knowledge of your GOPROS wireless connection settings. The good news is once you’ve set it up to connect to each GoPro the settings remain istored in the remote so you don’t have to do it again.You can store several GoPro connections in the remote and easily switch from controlling one to another. You can even fire multiple GoproS at once.The display clearly shows the mode and preset you are triggering, the number of videos already rec0ed, and a counter for the time of the CTIVE RECORDING.the remote worked perfectly when I tested it up to 50 yards in direct line outdoors. It does have some limitations if you have obstacles in the way but generally it works very very well.

This remote pairs very quickly and keeps the pairing the whole time. The on-screen data is pretty much all the info I need once I start the GP. I have even used it through a cruise balcony door..... Setting up a time lapse, but not having to go outside to keep an eye on the GP and make sure it's still recording. This one give you a nicer display at half the price of the official GP remote. The display interface is easy to navigate. The battery seems to keep a charge for quite a while. I've never had to charge it during a record. I know it can be a daunting task to buy ALL the accessories you want for a GP.....this is the best option out there for a fair price.

Works great with my GoPro Hero 8.I use it on my motorcycle and love the large bottom that can be operated even with gloves on.Display is great and allows me to see if the camera is on or off.I can ride a full day on a battery charge.

My “The Remote” went overboard on a fishing trip and I needed a replacement fast. I got this one due to next day shipping. It’s supposed to control 5 cameras. Some cameras start recording while the others don’t. When you stop recording the the others start.Completely ruined a whole days shoot. Save yourself some money and stick with the factory remote.

I should have read the fine print better before ordering. This thing is only "waterproof" to a depth of a few feet for one minute. Baswically, if you drop it in a puddle and scoop it up right away then you should be OK. That's at best "water resistant."My hope was to use it while snorkeling, and possibly while shallow water diving. However, it's clearly not shitable for either of those two activities.Otherwise, this is a decent remote. However, so is the TELESIN Magnetic Wireless Remote Control and in many ways, such as battery life and even waterproofness, it's even a bit better.

I mostly liked this remote. I hate reading instruction booklets and I was able to figure this out without much effort. It paired easy with both my Gopros. I can switch between them with the same remote which is REALLY nice. However it does take several keypresses to make that happen.I like the color screen which makes it easier to read with my old eyes.It's handy to be able to switch from video to photo to timed shot from the remote. I like that it gives you a counter to show that it's recording. It also shows how much storage and how much battery is left in the camera which is great.It's not perfect, you can't change all the settings like you can from the Quick app but I can't strap my phone to my wrist either. This remote will be very handy on our canoe trips so I can leave my phone in a waterproof bag and not risk losing or destroying it.

The T13 remote was easy to pair to my GoPro camera and makes it easier to control the main features of the camera remotely. I found the small power button on top and on somewhat of a slope difficult to use. It not only powers the device on an off, but also accesses the menu. Also the word "acion" in the menu, referring to the video mode, is misspelled (action). This may be a minor issue, but I feel it shows very poor quality control.

I thought this was supposed to be hard. I have had near zero luck with action camera remotes in the past. And usually with electronic devices and accessories, there is a finicky period of learning how it works, setting it up, getting it paired, etc. Something odd going on here, because:I opened the box, turned it on (it showed full charge,) turned on the camera, set it to pair new device and in two seconds, it was up and running. Played with a couple of settings (didn't read the instructions) and set the camera a few rooms away. The darn thing starts/stops recording, I can change modes and see the status of the video, resolution, frame rate, battery level of the camera... and on and on.I really like how you can put the camera in sleep mode, and immediately start recording again just by pushing the button. Size, form factor, button feel, display, and wrist strap are all just fine. Nice that you can set the screen brightness from 20% to 100% at any time.Okay, so I am happy. I will put this to use, see how it performs, and update my review. Hopefully it will continue to please. If not, I'll sure let you know.
