Easy to use
Works perfectly. So far have used it for a .223 and .308.

Same as the Hornady
Same as the Hornady, but cheaper. It does seem to be a bit thinner though.

Works well enough but inner rod is plastic
For just a little bit less than the original all metal one that starts with an H, you can get this half metal, half plastic one. It does work well enough, and it fits standard modified cases, but you'll need to buy those separately or make your own. I got the curved version and it works well for my autoloaders, and it's supposed to work well for bolt action, pump, and lever loaders, but I don't use it for that, so I can only speak to the autoloaders. It fits into the ejection port and slides forward. Manipulating it back out after you set it is a little tricky because you don't want to bump it and throw your reading off. So far the plastic inner rod is holding up fine, but I also don't crank the lock wheel down super hard, as I don't want to dent or make an impression that it will naturally want to slide back into, so you just have to go easy on that part. I'm sure that this will be off very slightly over time when the plastic inner rod deforms, but so far it hasn't. After seeing how this was built, and after looking at the H one, I would probably go that route if I were to do it again, but this AltitudeCraft one does work.

Great tool set to “find the lands”
A great alternative to the name brand version. I grabbed this to do some simple bore measurements. NOTE: If you have an AR, you most likely don’t need this setup. Finding the lands within an AR that won’t really allow you to adjust the OAL due to the max OAL allowed by the magazine isn’t necessary. Yes, you can manually feed the round but you won’t be able to fit that same round in the magazine and have it feed reliably. This is really designed for more precision applications. With all that being said, I can highly recommend this kit. Built well and appears to be pretty durable. I setup the comparator using a Quinn (Harbor Freight) digital caliper and it worked great!

Just as good or better than the name brand option
I like the build quality of this length gauge is actually better than the "name brand" that broke on my before. Very easy to use from a functionality perspective...Take three or four measurements to ensure accuracy of the measurement. My threaded cases screwed right onto the tool with no problem, with a perfect fit. The value for the money is there and I would recommend to anyone.
