SwitchBot Meter Pro, Digital Hygrometer & Thermometer - Wireless Indoor Temperature & Humidity Monitor with Bluetooth App Control, Real-Time Alerts (1, Meter Pro)

I originally came to know about Switchbot through their automated curtain closure. Since them I am using one Switchbot product or the other. Specific to this Thermometer, I used it for more than a month now. While I configure it to measure Temp, Humidity, Absolute Humidity, Dew Point and VPD every ten minutes, its battery performance is so far so good. You can refer the screenshots for specific measurements. I validated reading with another thermometer I have and its accurate. I liked its alert functionality and you can see in the video on how it works. Since switchbot comes with latest matter protocol, I integrated with Google and Samsung Smart things to control my indoor humidifier and Temp to keep the comfort level and VPD helped set appropriate water vapor level for proper plant growth. As an added bonus, you can store data for 2yrs on board and export into a CSV format for any additional analysis or opt to store data in the cloud for historical analysis. Overall I an please with its performance, price and will recommend it for any one in the market for a reliable thermometer.

This device is an excellent solution for managing indoor humidity, especially in areas with high outdoor humidity in our climate. During the wet spring seasons, it’s been difficult in the past to decide when to open windows at night, but this device simplifies that process with its sleek display and easy-to-read data. Previously, I had to juggle multiple apps to compare dew points, but now I can make informed decisions instantly. The Meter Pro is a notable upgrade from the basic SwitchBot meter, as it allows you to view data for two separate areas at the same time. This feature is particularly useful for those who need to monitor humidity levels closely. Additionally, the battery life is impressive, expected to last 6-12 months or more, which is consistent with other SwitchBot devices I own. While the device effectively presents and manages humidity data, I would appreciate a feature that could open and close heavy windows or French doors automatically. This would further streamline my smart home setup; I’ve been generally quite pleased with the SwitchBot ecosystem. Overall, I highly recommend this device is you’re seeking a reliable and simple way to manage humidity in their home. Its integration with other SwitchBot products and its ability to solve a long-time problem made it a valuable addition to my complicated smart home. I’ll also point out that it integrates seamlessly with Alexa, Siri and also Home Assistant.

I’m sharing my SwitchBot experience with the SwitchBot Meters. I have 2 Meter Mini and 2 with the screens. These are fantastic devices to monitor temperature and humidity. I have one in my garage freezer and always check that the temperature is 0 degrees F. I use the Indoor Meter Pro to connect everything up with a Hub Mini Matter Enabled to monitor another meter outside to get real-time temperature. I use my last meter on camping trips in the cooler. I can check it using Bluetooth and on my phone that the cooler’s temperature is ideal without ever needing to open it. Great products. Using these products with Apple HomeKit is a bit funky but doable, hence the 4 stars. This review was written at the request of SwitchBot, but reflects my real experience and opinion.

This is a fantastic device, I am very happy with it! Having the extra sensor is a plus as I am trying to monitor temps in different rooms without having to move the MeterPro itself. Matter setup wasn't the most straightfoward compared to other smart systems I have but at least it was only a 1-time frustration after figuring it out...I couldn't seem to determine if a Google Nest hub was truly required but it seems to have completed the setup w/ my Alexa account instead with no other equipment needed. This is a great addition to my smart systems and will be SO helpful in working on equalizing temps throughout my house, and for the money spent I got more thank I expected with this device & the SwitchBot infrastructure.

Simple but neat design. Does its job very well. The big font allows me to read the number from a far distance. The screen is made of high quality cuz I can easily see the number from the side angle, or in less ideal lighting conditions. Note the included outdoor sensor needs to be powered on & set up through the app on its own before you can see the outdoor temperature on the monitor. But it's a very straightforward setup, took me less than 5min. Good product.

Occasionally you come across that one product where the manufacturer hit it out of the ball park while doing so at a reasonable price point, and this is such a product. I had an old Acurite that worked fine, though it was so old the casing was yellowing a bit, but being a big Home Assistant user with countless automations based on temperature, I went with this product and could not be happier. While it uses bluetooth it integrates fine with both my HA system and the SwitchBot display at the same time. Now I can quickly look at the wall mount unit for outside temps while creating heating and cooling automations based on the same outdoor temps being sent to my Home Assistant. I even find their temperature sensors work both inside my fridge and freezer, so now my dumb fridge has some intelligence letting me monitor temperatures inside to ensure it is working as it should. The only con, though it is not really a con but more of a nice to have, is if weather could be pulled from the app on your phone. From what I have read it sounds like you need the SwitchBot hub for that info.

Dysfunctional right out of the box… All we needed was a thermometer that reads outdoor temperature as well as indoor. The SwitchBot Meter Pro after setup would not toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius. SwitchBot hydrometer did NOT read/pair w/ The SwitchBot Meter Pro. (multiple reboots and new batteries implemented) CCP garbage… heading to pick something that works one up at Home Depot

Le SwitchBot Station Météo est un excellent choix si vous recherchez un capteur de température et d'humidité précis, compact et intelligent, surtout si vous êtes déjà investi dans l'écosystème SwitchBot. Les alertes personnalisables et l'historique des données sont des fonctionnalités très appréciables. De plus, il est possible d'afficher la température du thermomètre extérieur. (Pour avoir cette fonctionnalité, il faut acheter le hub). Produit simple, rapide et efficace ! :)

Very pleased with this product, which was easy to setup on the SwitchBot App & with Google Home integration. The unit is well made, and very neat & compact - the display is bright and easy to read and can be angled using the built-in stand on the rear. Temperature & humidity readings have very good accuracy and appear to be much better than my old weather stations. What I have found very useful is the integration with Google, which can read out the temperature/humidity of the room/outside when asked via voice. The Meter Pro unit communicates via BLE rather than Wifi to the outdoor temperature sensor (~10-12m), but this can be extended by using a Hub Mini/Hub2/Hub3 if needed (separate purchase) to act as a repeater to other SwitchBot devices/your phone - this then also enables general Internet connectivity & Matter compatibility if required, and allows storage of sensor data in the Cloud (which is free). This combination appears to be ideal especially with multiple SwitchBot devices in your home (I am using 4 Meter Pros in and around the house). Overall, this provides a great eco system for temperature/humidity monitoring in the house & garden and the stability/accuracy have proved to be of great value in comparison to other similar devices I have looked at.
