Not really effective
Because this uses the edges of leather rather than the surface, it doesn’t really hold onto the compound and the sides of the leather get very hard so it doesn’t make an effective strop. As you use it it’s almost like it is curing or burnishing the Leather to a wooden hardness.I get much better results stropping with a flat piece of leather manually. I was hoping this would work but it just doesn’t. They design itself I think is flawed.

All of Beaver crafts tools are for the average user and carving and Whittling this will speed up some sharpening process is as it is thick enough and wide enough to be safely used with a power drill happy Carving
