I was so happy...
I have been using Micron illustration pens with success for almost 4 decades. I can pay less than $12 for them. Recently I noticed a change in the XXS tip or 0.05. It has become drier. It's only good for dot shading. I dot shade. I also need to draw fine lines in horror illustration. It sounds fun, but it's work. Micron put me behind by running dry too soon. I just switched to Faber Castell. I think their pencils are average. I also think their pens are wonderful. They're only beaten by Tombow. Faber Castell is one of those companies that retained integrity after decades of providing art supplies. Imagine my pleasure to discover Pitt artist pens were the illustration pens Micron used to be. I was so happy, I drew a zombie!

Nice pens overall
These pens seem to work well. Paper texture is important, too, so for watercolors, you might try hot pressed watercolor paper if you want smooth lines. I haven't tested all of these to see if they are all non water soluble, but the B (brush) size one seems NOT to be (see picture...I brushed water over the misspelled word Castel with a paint brush and it bled... maybe it wasn't all the way dry?) I will try drying it longer another time. In case you want a comparison of widths, I uploaded a test sheet on regular printer paper (contains tests from both this set and a Sakura Micron Pigma set here on Amazon.) Hope that helps!

A+ waterproof india ink pens for all forms or media and artwork. ..
These Pitt pens come in all types of colors and nibb sizes. They also come with Caligraphy and brush nibbs. There is not much to say about these pens except for they are great to use on all forms of art. Since the ink is an india ink, there is no worry of smearing if you use paints or watercolors over Pitt Ink. If you use the xs or s pens there is a slight chance you can break the nib over time if you have a heavy hand like I do. The nib on the finer pens are (as you'd expect) much smaller but this is what I need to use as they are the only water proof ink pens to get into those little crevices of my artwork. Replacing these pens individually are inexpensive and I have not run out of ink in one pen since purchase. I use the pens frequently so the ink lasts a long time.

Great value for great inks.
I used the Fabre-Castell SB pen in store and instantly fell in love with how smooth it was. In the arts store it was only available in a pack of other pens id already owned but here I got the pen I wanted along with others I don’t have like the B, SC, and 1.5. Look forward to getting to know these a lot more and creating. Great value for the bundle as well. It was only a few dollars more than the pen solo and you get 7 other pens.

Long lasting, bold felt tips in a great variety
I've used Pitt pens for years, now and while I sometimes wish the gray hues came in different widths than the brush tip, that's my only complaint of the line as a whole. The ink has good strength and they last longer than many felt tip pends. As for this set in particular, the variety is exceptional! How many wide brushy-type tips do I need? This many, apparently. The SB in particular is wonderfully fluid and encourages bold, graceful movements when drawing. The tiniest point allows me to stipple endlessly for all the persnickety detail I usually favor. I will say that they don't appreciate cheap paper. The difference between the results on a bookstore sketchbook and decent bristol is night and day, but that's to be expected, I suppose. And they're never bad, exactly, no matter how badly I cheap out on my sketchbooks. I just find myself turning to the heavier stock and doing more finished pieces than I intended, which is no bad thing.

Good selection of pens for inking
A good selection for all kinds of inking tasks. Ink does not smear after drying so it is suitable for wet coloring techniques. I really like the brush pen. Tip is not made of real bristles but instead some sort of semi flexible material so it offers a bit less variety in line width . Many people mention this as a negative but that also makes it so easy to control, especially when drawing fast, so I count is as a positive (if your style can handle that limitation), making the drawing process more fun. A little update to this review. S (small) pen run dry after just 2 images so I am knocking off 1 star for short life span. I used brush pen on much more than small pen so it might be a fluke, but not sure.

It's name brand!
Some of the best pens I have ever had. This is the second one I have purchased. It was cheaper on here than the local store. Bought them for my nephews artwork. As I use them for my art work I will buy again.

Just like described!
These pens are amazing! They came in the same 8 different sizes as pictured and have lots of ink. They work great in my bullet journal, however the only thing I noticed was that they kind of rub away a bit when erasing. Besides that, these pens work really good and mine came in the condition they were described as!

The feel of the pens and depth of color of the india ink makes sketching enjoyable even for this amateur.

Unfortunately, two markers don't write at all. It's really sad to receive such a new product. Is there anything I can do about it? I don't want to return the whole package because the other markers are good and I need them.

These pens look like they’ve been previously returned. The pack has clearly been quite crudely retaped. One of them appears to have been used.
