Awesome toy! Great for summer evenings!
Best thing since nerf had the illuminator football! Super bright and long lasting, also like that it's a bit difficult to get the battery out, gives you peace of mind throwing it knowing if it bounces the battery won't fall out

Incredible!
Awesome ball, quality material. Looks freakin awesome when we go to practice at night. Got two, one red and one blue for my kids and they love it. Their friends think its super cool the way the ball lights up bright and flys through the air.

BUY THIS BALL!
I purchased the on/off version. This ball is fantastic. I tried 2 others and they broke on the first use. The others do not have a shock absorber surrounding the components to keep them safe. This ball has an external battery included (a23, 4 pack for $5) and this excellent plastic shield that surrounds the battery and absorbs shock. We are at 2 weeks of SOLID play with this ball at night. Attached are pictures of what the ball and components look like after heavy use.My son is 13 and throws well. The ball is built to withstand the impact of play, not just for show. If your kid is struggling to track the ball while catching or you are trying to help them fine tune their throw, this is an excellent way to switch up your practice routine.DO NOT USE FOR BATTING PRACTICE! NOT MEANT FOR HITTING!

Great Lights, Clumsy to Operate
Overall I like this ball a lot. In Fall, baseball practice usually ends at sunset. But my boy and his teammates often want to hang around and still play catch. This ball is perfect for that - it lets them play past sunset, and it's fun to just see the lights fly through the air. I'm inclined to buy more for other teammates as gifts just to see a bunch of these flying through the air at the same time.My one complaint, and this is what stops it from being a five-star product, is the battery/switch situation. I bought the "switch" version which does allow it to be turned on and off without taking the battery out. From what I gather from the reviews, that's a big improvement over the previous model that didn't have a switch at all. But it's still difficult to do - the coin-twist unlocking is easy enough, but the switch is so tiny and awkwardly placed, it's hard to turn on. And replacing the battery (which is A23 btw) is also a little hard. Because of those things, I feel like it's not something you can just give to a kid and expect them to be able to do themselves, which is unfortunate because this is a device that I think kids would otherwise love. This product would be so much better if there were a way to turn it on and off without having to open it up, and if were rechargeable instead of needing replacement batteries. I feel like both of those things would be easy enough to do - a simple recessed switch and a USB charging port on the outside of the ball would solve everything wrong with this device, and make it easier for younger kids to use without adult assistance.TLDR: I like it a lot, but make sure you buy the "switch" version, and know that even that one still is clumsy to operate, especially for young kids.

My baseball loving family loves this!
My baseball loving husband absolutely loves this illuminated baseball. He really enjoys playing catch with our son as it starts to get dark outside. Honestly a great product with the catch censored glow!

Pretty cool
This is a really cool idea. Different feel than a normal baseball when you are throwing and catching it. The lights work well, but the switch on the battery location is really terrible and difficult to turn on and off. I didn’t even see it at first and thought you had to remove the batteries each time. It’s still difficult because even with the switch you still need to use the coin provided to open the light and turn it off, not as simple as it should be. As for durability. Time will tell. But it seems more like a novelty than someone meant to last.

Perfect for night practice
I bought this product two years ago the first time around and was really impressed by the feel and visibility of the ball when my son and I practiced at night. First ball took a lot of hard hits since we practice on concrete but, ball still works great. Bought a second one recently in red to alternate. We have the switch version, it’s fine, idk why everyone had trouble turning it on. Would definitely recommend for catching, toss ups and pitching at night.

Does not work straight out the box
😞 We weren't able to see family to exchange Christmas presents until today (April). Our nephew was SO excited to open the ball, but it doesn't work straight out the package. He was so disappointed 💔It's not the battery. Just defective. Since it's out the return window, it is what it is. Sad present for a sweet baseball player.
