This is the best, most versatile, yet simple to use night light that I have, genuinely had the pleasure of using.It is made in several variations and there is even a white one.This is a night time motion detecting combination of uplighter and down lighter, combined.On one side is a ridged slide switch for either on, off and auto modes, whilst on the opposite side is a slide switch to manually adjust/set the light level from off, very dim to very bright settings.I have set mine half way to avoid being temporarily blinded, if visiting the bathroom in the middle of the night.The LED night light is mains powered (U.K. three pin plug) and arrives boxed with an instruction leaflet and electric plug pin protector cap.Electrically it is very efficient and has very low running costs, for it switches the light off after about 30 seconds when detected motion has ceased.Thus it should stop things from going 'bump' in the night!So far, I have one plugged in at the top of the stairs on the landing, for safety and economy but I am now on the look out for it's equivalent in white, for the kitchen.

The media could not be loaded. I got this to replace a sensor light that stopped working and decided to go for something a little different and I'm glad I did.At first I was worried as where I've put it is not very high and that the sensor wouldn't detect movement as it's just above my skirting board but I had no need to worry as the sensor picks movement up really well and the light stays on for a little while.I also like the fact that you get light from the top and the bottom of the unit and not full in the face (no one wants that when they are half asleep)The unit itself is smaller than I imagined but performance wise it's far better than I thought it would be there is a switch on the side with three settings constantly on, off and sensor mode and there is also a slider to make the light brighter or dimmer. It is plastic but dose feel solid enough and sits in a plug socket nicely.If your like myself and don't like turning the light on when you get up at night to go into another room for a short while then this is a great option for hallways or even a night light.I'm really happy with this purchase and think it is good value for money.

Nice little night light albeit basicSmall and discreet in size you can see it is nearly the same size as the socket , also it is entirely made of plastic ( photos on listing made it look more aluminium ? However specs do say its plastic), but I like the novel way it is fashioned on an up and down lighter , different I supposeThat said it works as it should , there is a sliding adjustment on one side to alter the brightness , and it has three modes , on all the time , off ( obviously) ad Auto , which uses the motion sensor to turn it on when it spots movementWorks really well and I would recommend

The light offers a good amount of flexibility, offering on/off and movement detection. The brightness can easily be adjusted using a slider, which offers a good range of brightness levels. The light works well, creating the ideal amount of light. While it looks good, closeup it is a little plasticky, but its not too big a deal when its plugged in a socket.

Was disappointed, as having some of the dusk till dawn ones which are brilliant this one not the same will make use of it but will not be buying another one, although it does work well if you want motion sensor, the others just suit us better!!

Great motion sensing night light that works well and has a nice low level light output to be able to see where you're going. Would recommend!
