Dometic385310954 Ball and Shaft Kit with Spring Cartridge

Everything went right in, ball replaced a scratched older unit that wasn't sealing properly.

This worked perfect and was exactly what I needed for my rv.

The brass shaft is so much better and more sturdy than the plastic shaft. If you’re planning to live in one and are making upgrades for longevity this is a necessary upgrade to your toilet. I will admit that it’s a pain to install. You have to hand screw the pin to the ball valve as much as it’ll go and then press the brass pin in from the outside of the toilet to get the ball valve to bend in so you can tighten the screw down as far as it will go. It’s really a two person job or it’s easier as such. Anyway I’m happy with the finished results.

This worked for our sealand 210 rv toilet. I wanted the brass instead of the plastic shaft and am glad I went with this one. I was worried I needed a new pedal or valve but this kit solved our issue.

I purchased this kit for a model 310 based on the Q&A section and a Dometic customer support response saying that it does fit the 310. I does not fit the 310. The flapper, valve, shafting is all different. This was actually a warehouse item purchase and now I am unable to return it. I am disappointed.

Seems to have fixed my issue with the ball not closing after a flush. Fit my Sealand 110 perfectly. Has the black spring cover.. I suggest removing the entire commode. You don't have to, but I came very close to dropping some told down the pipe...

I highly recommend watching as many YouTube videos first. This is not very easy to install. It will be helpful to have GOOD patients and small hands. Any RVer should be able to do this.

Had to replace the original that had the plastic shaft. This new metal shaft makes the system operate exactly as designed without any play

Works just like a new unit.

The old one was difficult to get out but the new one went in without issue. The only thing is make sure you clean the old ball seal really well or it will still leak. (Or put in a new seal)

This was the exact part needed, and fit perfectly. Brass shaft to replace the original plastic (which had actually held up well). Combined with new seals, this made my RV toilet like new again.
