I buy large 44 lb bags of food for the dogs. I hate using bags and my dogs will ALWAYS find a way to get to them or get into them.Oddly enough, if I put them in any kind of container... they never bother. So I was using an old 5 gallon Lowes bucket and lid for a while. Got a little tiring filling up the bucket and then trying to find a place to hide the bag every few days.I love this thing! Its perfect. I can toss all 44 lbs of food in there, seal it up and they dont even bother it. The cup that clips into the lid.. love that too! Plus the measurements are very accurate! My wife can easily roll the full container due to the wheels.The wheels were a little stubborn to install, but they are secure and wont be going anywhere.The container itself is sturdy and durable. There is a seal on the main lid and another on the scoop "upper lid" as well.When lifting on either of the lids to either fill or scoop food, you can feel the seal working.Highly recommend this for people who buy large quantities and like to have food safe from going stale and to keep other bugs and critters out.

Easy open lid to scoop out food. Easy open top (the entire top vs the dog scoop opening) makes it easy to put your food in the container. I get 40lb bags. Plenty of room. 50lb probably will fit... Has wheels on 1 side so easy to maneuver if needed. Pretty sturdy. My Brittany Spaniel chewed the opening and she is pretty aggressive chewer but didn't gain access. This is my second container- still have the first after 3 years

I’ve had an off brand name container like this for a couple years and it’s still like new. I don’t dump the food into it but set the bag of food inside. This keeps the container from getting that greasy film in it. Well I adopted a dog and needed additional containers so chose this brand since the container itself is like the two I have.The lids don’t latch tight on either of these but I thought oh well I can live with it. But when I began to install the first wheel the container cracked open around the wheel base and up the side. I was pushing the axle in with my fingers even though the instructions said you may have to use a rubber mallet. I imagine the breakage would’ve been even greater had I used the mallet. The wheels for the second container went in ok but this first container isn’t usable for sealing in freshness of the food.The plastic on these are so much thinner than the off brands I have from two years ago. Price goes up while quality goes down, not good business sense.

You can't ask for a better plastic bin for storing pet foods. I fit a 50 lb. bag of Purina Rabbit Chow in here, the bag and all. I just tip the bin over on it's side and slide the whole bag in. This keeps the plastic from possible leaching a plastic taste into the pellets and keeps the plastic clean. It also fits a full-size bag or Nutro's Natural Choice dog food which I think is 30 lbs. You can open the lid in two ways. There is a sealable door on hinges where there is an included 8 oz. measuring cup that slides in grooves for storage or you can open the entire lid which is also on hinges. The measuring cup comes in very handy. I have not had to attach the wheels which are included. I don't know how they would stand up to 50 lbs. but they are nice to have.

More than enough room for a bag of my dog's food. Keeps it dry and sealed outside. Nice to have a scoop and built in holder too.Update:I purchased this in January of 2015. Here it is January of 2017 and it's got a hole in it. I leave this on the back porch and the sunlight has degraded the plastic to the extent that the bin has become brittle and cracked. An enterprising rodent discovered this and has gnawed a nice hole in it to access the food. It's in the corner so it is possible I broke the corner first and he took advantage.Am looking at a galvanized trash can with lid or something narrow enough to keep inside by the kitchen door. I have a small kitchen so would rather keep the food outside. But I can't be spending $40 every two years for a new dog food bin either. My previous one that was a freebie from Eukanuba lasted over 10 years. So while I like the design, don't like the obsolescence.

Holds large bag dog food, plastic is durable, lids are easy to use

We've had this for over a year and it is still air tight and works perfectly. The closet we keep it in never smells like dog food which was the main reason we got it.
