The best knife I've ever owned
I was watching some youtube cooking videos and saw the nakiri style knife. It seemed cool, so I dug around on Amazon and found this one for 13 quid. When it arrived about 2 months ago, I was immediately impressed. The hammered pattern & shine looks amazing, balance is perfect, feels high quality, and it feels like a much more expensive knife. Further, the nakiri style is now my favorite type of knife. I never have to worry about damaging the tip or scratching pots in the sink, but the sharpness & weight behind the cutting edge makes it slice through anything with ease. Honestly, I use it more than any other knife, even for stuff that I'd normally use a paring knife for.My only (very) minor gripes are that since it's somewhat heavy & large compared to santoku style knives, it may get tiring when making huge meals. Also, my other gripe is that this brand only has one of these hammered style knifes, I'd love to buy a whole set.

Fantastic knife, especially for the price
This is a fantastic knife for the price. It was sharp straight from the (very smart) package - and even better after a few passes with a steel. It's comfortable to hold and to use, and looks great. I've used it fairly extensively over the last few days, and it's fast becoming one of the knives I reach for first.

A little too thick for a Santoku!
I have always wanted a Santoku Knife. I love the shape and the utility it provides. After a quick search I found this knife. Given the price and the look, quickly wanted to give it a try.The knife arrived in a very well presented package. It was a pleasure to unbox. The out of the box sharpness was also very good. Didnt have to sharpen it at all.The handle is also really well made. Fits inside the hand well and gives full control without being bulky. However the thickness of the blade makes it difficult for fine and fast chopping. The weight of the whole knife is on the heavy side, which was subjectively welcomed by myself but your experience may be different.Overall, I would definitely recommend this knife to a beginner or an enthusiast. However the balance and the thickness of the knife is unsuitable for advanced or rapid prep.

Really good quality and worth the money
I bought this as a Christmas gift and he absolutely loves it. It looks and feels a lot more expensive than it actually is and it’s now his go to favourite knife to use. The top half has indents hammered as a pattern and the bottom is super sharp. The handle has a good quality dark wood look

Best knife ever!
This knife is amazing, it makes potatoes feel like bananas and is fantastic for all cabbage and greens. We really love it and wish we had got one sooner. It’s very sharp but easy to control. Wash it by hand to make it last a long time. Really recommend.

Extremely Sharp. Comfy, Looks lovely.
I've worked with some Sharp kitchen knifes in my time but this is probably the best I've used. For the money it's well worth every penny and more. I'd would have paid £60 for this knife very easily.Arrived next day..comes very nicely packaged, a nice unboxing experience. I will 100% be buying different types of knifes from their range.

value for money
This knife is well balanced and very good quality. I normally choose a three rivet handle with the blade in between the handle, this gives strength to the knife. This knife hasn't got three rivets, it is a very strong waited knife. Great value for money.

Starts nicely but isn't so durable
I got this knife a few months back and really enjoyed the nakiri style. It's safer for me due to it's wide blade which acts as a great knuckle guide. It starts off very sharp, it looks lovely and it hasn't chipped, however I cannot get it to be as sharp as my cheaper knives. It seems as though the steel is just too soft to stay sharp for long. I have a whetstone and a honing rod so I kept bringing it back to sharpness but it loses it after a few chops. Eventually you can barely chop tomatoes which is just not ideal. It looks really nice, starts well, but I would save my money and buy a knife with nicer steel.
