Just don’t.
Right out of the box, after putting batteries in, I had to hit a few times with my palm before it would work. The sound via headphones or Bluetooth was barely audible even turned up all the way. The controls are confusing and the buttons feel like they will break at any moment. I bought it to listen to some books on tape with my Bluetooth headphones while working. No dice.

Perfect
Perhaps I shouldn't leave a review so soon after my purchase, but I'm really happy with this cheap little audio tape cassette/mp3 converter. I had a micro sd adapter (to usb) and it worked really well, to my surprise. It created a folder called MP3 on my micro sd, and saved the tape recording to the folder. It is great quality, as good as the tape, and it was really easy. there's a little button on the front. I'm skeptical of reviews, sometimes they make them up to sell their product, but this one is right on.At the beginning I opened this cassette player and prepared to connect my bluetooth speaker to play my old tapes, and it was wrongly connected to my laptop. Then I turned off the Bluetooth of the laptop and re-opened the Bluetooth of the cassette player to connect my home Bluetooth speaker. Now, the cassette player was automatically connected and the sound quality was very good.So why not use all the modern digital audio players/recorders? this unit is compatible with your iPod, mp3 unit or other digital audio formats – you connect to these with an auxiliary jack. Very useful function, you can even play tape music to your bluetooth speakers.

don't do it
IT is not easy to use the record to TF card. Directions are not really helpful. To use the converter to the PC directions ask you to insert Audacity software disc in the computer, but none is included with the cassette. Tried to copy to the TF card. it was difficult to get it to work. I am sorry that I purchased this item. You can play tapes and use Bluetooth which is also hard to get to connect but once it does that seemed fine.

Design deficiencies abound.
Concept is great.Recording to an SD card and having Bluetooth capability. But it has some MAJOR design deficiencies.Records to the SD card at very low volume. This might be OK if it came with an editor to boost the volume back up.But it doesn't.Their MP3 file format is very questionable.Works with windows Groove, but cannot be read by the Apple Quick Time Player.I have an Olympus Sonority editor and it crashes it when it tries to read the file.I'll wait for Version 2 to come out and possible try it again. For now, I am returning it.

Plays cassette tapes as promised.
This player's plastic parts feel flimsy but the internal working parts seem to be fine. It plays cassette tapes well, I've used in the the car with an aux cord, but have not tried to use it with my computer to burn a CD yet.

No real volume and distorted signal.
Have not tried every function yet but I am greatly letdown with it. Major lack of volume for one. And a lot of sound distortion through Bluetooth. Bad purchase.

Works great but feels somewhat cheap.
Seems like a great little player to convert old tapes into a digital format. The buttons and material choices are a little cheap for cost of the player.
