Buy it.
Even better than I expected! This is such a cool gadget for kids. (And even for adults) The value for money is totally worth it. I love that the image quality is nice once you adjust the focus. And that you can take a picture of all the cool things you find. So far it's been easy to use, and the battery life has been great.

A must have for curious kids…or adults
These are fun and allow for lots of exploration. My kids have looked at everything from plants, bugs, rocks and dog hair.

See the world around you in more detail
It’s a great tool for a kiddo to be able to run around outside and even find smaller things to place under it. It’s kind of like a high-tech toy. I wouldn’t necessarily consider it a tool but it’s definitely powerful enough to see some neat things. The fact that you can take pictures with it, save them and it comes with a cool carrying case makes it a win for us. The case means she can take it around to the park and play with their friends. It makes it an all-around great gift even for pre teen.

Grandkids are off the videos voluntarily
This microscope is awesome. Not only is it well made it works very good. We find it easy to focus and being a screen all little faces can see it together. Ability to set it on object gives kids a world of opportunities to see insects, plants, brother’s wart, sisters lost tooth etc, and on and on. Camera and videos are clear and older lab slides are easy to find and focus also. So it’s very easy to use, quality made, not expensive for what you get , came in nicely packed box complete with case. Yep it’s a keeper.
