I like this test kit because it provides me lots of information about my health based on DNA. It helps to learn MTHFR/ Comt mutations and vitamins needs to correct it. One of my client who was diagnosed with Autism , developed speech and communication skills after started right amount of B vitamins. I also consult Dr. for right amount of vitamins and brand name. It is amazing how science can change your life positively! A person from LifeDNA helped me to understand test results and explained how does it affect an individual health. Thank you!

Well, I really don't see that this is worth the price, because it just gives you what your tendencies are, that you are more or less likely to have this or that vitamin defficiency or allergy, but nothing for sure. It might help some people have more direction in their nutrition or health, but as someone already fairly knowledgeable about my health, I didn't find any of it helpful. I couldn't find how to schedule the call. They kept wanting me to pay more for more info, and lot more. If I found some of the initial report eye opening, I might have considered paying it. This is probably best for people who are more health virgins.

This review is for LifeDNA’s "12 Methylation Genes Test with Complete Wellness Analysis" currently priced at $274 ($260 on their website). There's an earlier review saying that this didn't come with methylation gene testing, so I would just advise buyers to read the product name and description thoroughly before buying. It might've been a review for a different product.*Test*This kit comes with an easy swab test with vials marked with a unique ID. You are prompted to set up an account to register your sample. I believe the only info you need to sign up is your email and sex. Once you take the test, you send it via USPS in the addressed + prepaid padded envelope. USPS picked it up on 2/7/25 and I received an email notification saying that my results were ready on 3/7/25. There's a dashboard for tracking when they've received your sample and when it's been analyzed.As a side note, this might not be an easy gift. The kit doesn't come with any information about what's being tested in the package so if you want to get this for someone else, you'll need to send them to the product page.*Reports*It comes with so much interesting information. They make it clear that it's not medical advice and it hasn't been evaluated by the FDA, but what it does do is identify the likelihood of developing certain traits. You can take that information to your own physician to zero in on any possible health risks and do specific testing, and you can take steps towards healthier behaviors based on these predispositions. It's honestly eye opening. Each report looked at 15 to 30ish traits each, breaking down what each gene is, what the analysis is, and what it means for you. They also note that your info will be updated as science evolves, which is pretty cool. The information is very easy to digest and they offer recommendations for improving those lifestyle factors. For example, mine said that I might have lower than average vitamin D absorption and a greater intolerance to lactose. These are both things I can ask my doctor to look at. Both came with easy to implement suggestions. I'm impressed with the overall amount of information. It's more than I expected.*Additional Info*As another reviewer mentioned, this test is a gateway to a subscription for regular insights and additional reports. When your get your data back you'll receive a promo for their subscription. It's easy to dismiss and they don't seem super pushy about it. Additional reports like an "aging report" costs $79 to add on.*Data Security & Privacy*They have a transparent and consumer friendly policy towards data security and your personal info. They may use third party labs or couriers but that is the main extent. I couldn't find anything that raised any serious flags. I can't post links here but you can find info if you search for "privacy & security" and read through their terms.All in all, I would rate that is an overwhelmingly positive experience. I wasn't sure what to expect. The hardest part was waiting a whole month. I'm happy with the reports and the information that comes with the reports. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's interested in taking better care of themselves. It's a good stepping stone to better health.

This DNA test was very easy to use…..instructions are on a single sheet of paper and very simple to follow. You need to sign up and register before you do anything else. The swab test didn’t take long, one swab on the inside of one cheek for 45 seconds and then straight into the prefilled vile that is provided, the swab snaps off easily. Then you do the same thing again for the other cheek. The kit comes with a pre stamped jiffy bag to send of your samples…now just need to wait. I got an email straight after registration welcoming me and offering me a complimentary phone session to explain my results when I get them. Looking forward to seeing what I find out through this test.**update- the 1 on 1 call session to go over your report is awful, the 1st time I scheduled, the rep said they were not feeling well and asked me to reschedule, which I did. Then that appt was rescheduled because of an unforeseen situation, I got an update to my email. So I scheduled again, and today I got an email saying the rep waited for ten mins for me and I didn’t join, they were 15 mins early to the meeting. I give up, not worth rescheduling again. I change my stars to a 1 because my report means nothing if I have no idea how to read it.

I have finally sent in my Genes test for complete analysis covering over 120 traits concerning my nutrition, fitness, victim and, wellness, sleep and so on. I was very hesitant to do this, not sure about ow this could or would affect my life but after reading into this I found it to be a comforting and proactive approach to my health care and my decisions in how I respond to the information. I took forever to remember to do it before I drank my morning coffee. I twirled the swab around on each cheek for the time required, placed the head in the provided tube and broke off the end as directed. After doing so I placed them in the provided, postmarked and addressed envelope and mailed it off. I have not gotten my results yet but I won’t post about that anyway. I will however update how this provided me information to make decisions concerning my health when I get them.
