height, weight, assembly, shooting rail height, comfortable, safe, swivel seat
The stand is only 13' to the base! The description say's 15' in one section and 13' in another! Very confusing!! I even called sportmans and they said it was 15' but it IS NOT!! It also seems to weigh a lot more than claimed! The instructions could have been better also! The positive is the stand seems sturdy and comfortable and I do feel safe in it. I like the swivel seat well. The shooting rail could a been a little higher making it more comfortable resting you gun for a shot but I was lucky enough to have left over tubing from other stands that allowed me to raise the height 3 1/2" all the way around making a perfect fit. I never expected to move the stand assembled alone so the weight not the end of the world. I am handy so working around the poor instructions was do able. Would a given it a 5 rating if it was 15' to base as advertised.

Don’t buy it trust me
You need to have 2 pounder hammer and welder and extra Screws for Assembling the trees them and because it’s so been so damaged and so hard to assemble it so I need to cut his pieces welded the game to reinstall it and of course to see you all the metal because the insulation spray with the board already peeled off very bad quality Product

bad fabrication
First off I'm a welder / fabricator . So with that said all these things stick out to me . Weld spatter all over , weld wire stuck here and there . A hammer was needed to make things fit better with longer bolts to pull parts tighter . a lot of the powder coat was chipped and scraped off exposing raw steel . It will work but very cheesy. swivel chair is nice but there isn't enough room between chair and shooting rail to even tie your boots. have to get special hooks to mount on rail for hunting supplys. I think I would build one next time before buying this.

Poor Quality
This is the cheapest made yet expensive stand I have ever seen which is why it says 2-4 hours with 4 people to put together. Almost all of the pieces did not slide in without having to hammer them in, hardly any of bolts fit in the holes properly, the straps on the back of the seat cushion are to short so you have to use both of them for 1 side , and after being outside 1 evening it was covered in rust.

Disappointing but functional
General: Comes in three large boxes. One was damaged by UPS and they sent it back to SG before I saw it. SG contacted me asap and replaced it within a few days. Kudos for Sportsman's Guide (SG).Bad: All the quality I've come to expect from Made in China. Bare metal all over and the paint kept on falling off while I was assembling it. No rust but it will come soon enough. I had to re-drill four holes, had to use a vise to fix two sections that were welded on crooked so I could drill two of the holes. I doubt it will last 3 seasons in my area (NW FL). Had to retighten most bolts after a week of day/night heat cycles (kinda expected). Seat backrest is not very comfortable but workable.Good: All parts were there and most fit together ok. Instructions were minimal but I figured it out ok. Took two men to get it up (as expected). Gives a nice view from the top and the seat is sturdy and quiet in rotation. You can easily use it on uneven or sloping ground as two legs are adjustable in length. Seems secure enough to trust in winds. I will try it out soon (and repost if necessary) but I think it will meet my needs.New: After 4 seasons in the Florida sun and rain it is still fully functional. Seat is still quiet!
