The volume required isn’t clear however 5kg’s good for about 100sq/m. My lawn is looking patchy after I killed all the weeds on it (weedol) about 1 month ago. My intention is to over-sow new seed. First I marched around in my spikey aerator sandals looking like a tight kn0b, then I used this fertilizer...and finally I watered thoroughly. About 90 mins work all up. Now I shall wait a few days before sowing he new grass seed and waiting (expecting) for miracles to happen. Wish me luck 👍🏻

Over 2 warm summers our grass was dead, full of weeds and it just couldn’t bounce back, water would pool on the surface. I bought this along with 2 mixes of grass seed and a scarify machine. The raker took up countless wheel barrows worth of dead grass, moss and thatch leaving us with a very dusty soil lawn. We didn’t follow the instructions with this we just threw it on at the same time as reseeding in August I put the second grass seed on in September to fill in any gaps. The grass has bounced back a rich green colour, the best it’s looked in years. Watered every evening while dark until the weather turned and it started raining everyday. The soil underneath is now healthy obviously whatever is in this stuff did wonders because the years before the grass seed never took. We do still have a weed problem but I’m trying to keep on top of it.

I used it with grass seeds and it did wonders the pic.is after 1 week and 4 days it’s brilliant.

Made a big difference. No instruction of packet though, otherwise would have given 5 starts. I only needed a small quanity but note that for a couple more quid you can buy 3 times the amount elsewhere

Not had good enough weather yet to sow this , but if it's anything like last lot I got I will have to cut grass more often , did 3rd with first smaller bag of seed and it never stops growing for every cut I had to do then did 3rd again over again, Fingers crossed

Secret seems to be in ground preparation and patience. Hard work digging, removing stones and debris, and levelling paid off. Shoots sermed to take a long time to emerge but worth waiting for. Needed frequent watering (planted June 2019). Used a granular fertiliser which helped. Expect to have to feed and weed in Spring. Overall, very pleased with the product.
