Now I know this is a turkey carving set but I didn't have any turkey at the moment. I used it to cut beef and vegetables and it's very sharp right out of the box. It made quick work of the beef roast and veggies. The fork was great for holding the meat still while cutting. The knife and fork both look very good and come in a pretty awesome case. I may use this for all sorts of cutting, not just for Thanksgiving. Highly recommend.

I have a full set of Brodark knives and I love them. These are additional specialty pieces I didn’t have. The carving knife comes very sharp, and I easily cut through a single sheet of paper. The fork is comfortable and the tines spaced well. All the products from them are comfortable and well made, very well balanced, and high quality stainless steel. You can’t go wrong with these two, and if you’re looking for something like this, I’d highly recommend these!

I never put much thought into an actual turkey carver before since Thanksgiving comes and goes once a year, but this carving knife is simply flawless! Something to pass down from generation to generation for years to come. It is nice and sharp, but all knives are sharp when they knew, so for me I was looking deeper into this and all I can say is without a doubt this is the sweetest looking knife setup I have ever seen. Honestly if someone did not see the price tag on this set you could convince someone that this cost $400 and I bet everyone would believe you. That is how sophisticated and sweet this knife is.

Sharpness on this seems not great. Adequate, but not great. That goes for the fork as well as the knife. Though, it hardly matters much how good the fork is, as long as it's sturdy and sharp enough to pick things up and stab them, which it is.The knife on the other hand is what I'll focus on. The tip isn't that sharp and the edge isn't either, though you can get through things alright. After using many high quality knives, this just can't hold to my standards. Even on cheap knives, I've dealt with better.The weight overall is quite heavy for a knife this size. While that may be helpful in getting through meats a little bit easier, it feels a bit inelegant in the hand to me. This weight comes from both the blade being really thick and the handle being quite the clunker.Despite the extra thickness in the blade I was a little surprised that it had as much flex as it did. Not to say that it's really flexible, but usually a thicker knife would just sit there like a rock as I press against it. It's decently hard enough and seems like an okay steel but it's not really in the realm of good or great I guess.All in all it's a knife and it cuts, but I'm sure there's something better to spend your money on.
