Great for Multitasking!
As a university student, this monitor has been a lifesaver for my studies. Having research papers open on one screen and my coding projects on the other has boosted my work efficiency. When I only need one screen for studying, I use this monitor to relax with movies or shows, and the Full HD 1080p resolution is fantastic!Setting up the monitor with my 14” MacBook Pro was easy. The monitor is super portable and fits well in my laptop bag, so I can easily carry it to the library or a coffee shop.I absolutely love the rose-gold color. It adds a nice touch of style. The screen is bright and vibrant, making everything look great. The monitor's pivot hinge is a great feature; I usually turn it vertically when I'm coding and rotate it back when I'm watching videos. It's super convenient. Very satisfied!

Excellent for frequent travelers
Summary of the key points:The Sotsul display:+ Has excellent build quality with an aluminum finish+ Matches the quality of your MacBook Pro+ Has no protruding buttons+ Comes with a protective bag with foam padding+ Appears more durable and better suited for travel+ Plug and play, easy to set up and connect to my Mack Book Pro+ Great for Professionals and occasional Netflix (not a gamer so can't judge)- Features 400 nits brightness, which you find satisfactory but could be slightly higherMy previous display I purchased:- Cost about half as much- Had a plastic casing that proved to be fragile- Buttons were exposed and vulnerable to damage- Broke after just three trips through airport security. Buttons were pushed in, rendering brightness adjustment impossible, Got stuck at 35% brightnessImportant Highlights when choosing a portable display, especially for frequent travelers:- Build quality: The aluminum chassis of the Sotsul seems far more durable than the plastic of my previous model.- Button design: The absence of protruding buttons on the Sotsul is a significant improvement for durability.- Protective accessories: The included foam-padded bag adds an extra layer of protection.- Brightness: While 400 nits is good, but could be slightly higher.Price vs. longevity: The more expensive Sotsul seems to offer better value in the long run due to its durability.

After trying 3 Monitors this is the one!
I’ll be honest: when I saw only 20 or so reviews, I was hesitant. However, I really loved the look and stand of this monitor, so I decided to give it a try. I use Macs and absolutely love having a second monitor, but Sidecar just doesn’t work that well for me.I first tried the Ingnok 15-inch monitor, which was fine. It was $70 cheaper and weighed less than 2 pounds, but it felt a bit cheap. Then I tried the ViewSonic, which cost almost $200 more but wasn’t much better. Both drained my laptop’s power super fast, and the screen quality was just okay. This monitor, however, exceeded my expectations. The build quality is top-notch, and the glossy screen perfectly matches my Mac. While the resolution isn’t as good as my MacBook Air M1, it’s still more than adequate. The built-in stand is fantastic—it puts the monitor at the exact height of my laptop and fits perfectly on small coffee shop tables alongside my laptop. My only complaints are minor. The provided USB-C cable is bulky, making it hard to plug into the stand. Also, the placement of the Sotsu logo on the bottom of the monitor is a bit awkward—if you flip the stand to the top position, the logo ends up upside down. Lastly, it would have been nice if the branding on the stand was placed on the back, so it’s not visible. What I love:Build Quality: Sturdy and well-designed.Battery Efficiency: I’ve been using it for an hour, and my laptop battery is still holding strong.Design: Compact and perfect for small spaces like coffee shop tables.Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase!

It's really nice. Well constructed, sturdy and stylish.
Monitor quality:It's really nice. Well constructed, sturdy and stylish.. However the image quality is not the best compared with mi laptop..Functionality:And it has a limitation on screen rotation: It is able to auto-rotate the image from 0 to 180 degrees when you rotate the monitor, but not in 90 degrees position. You have to do it through the computer display setup.

Beautiful but doesn’t play nice with Apple
I truly appreciate the sleek design and portability of this monitor; it’s an attractive addition to my setup. However, I primarily use an M4 iPad Pro and was hoping for a seamless experience, particularly with the automatic rotation feature. Unfortunately, I’ve found that the auto-rotate functionality does not work with the iPad Pro, which has been disappointingWhile the monitor initially operates well, I've encountered issues with the controls becoming unresponsive after some time. For instance, I was scrolling through a webpage on the second monitor when I switched to my iPad screen. Upon returning to the portable monitor to scroll, it started behaving erratically—auto-scrolling and selecting items without my input. This forced me to disconnect the monitor entirely, which was frustratingOn a positive note, the monitor does function well with my M1 MacBook Pro, but the touch features didn’t quite meet my expectations, and the auto-rotate issue persists. I configured it in portrait mode for a lengthy document and found that I could only move the mouse around rather than scroll through the document with my finger, which limited its usabilityOverall, while the portability and easy orientation adjustment are fantastic features, they alone may not justify the price tag. I’m hopeful that it will work better with my Dell tablet, although I predominantly use Apple devices.

Great quality. Perfect to match you MacBook style.
Great quality, and it’s the same exact color of my Mac (Silver). The screen is very close to what the screen of a Mac looks and feels like. Super light weight but I think the base for it is expensive considering you have to buy separately.
