As advertised and great quality
So many products on Amazon lately as cheap Chinese knock offs, made of different materials or not as bright as advertised. That is not the case with this light. True 1000 lumens, we'll built, compact, and great for edc. Love the double clip design so it can go in a pocket or on a hat. Great light and would highly recommend

Great EDC light
Great flashlight! I’ve tried many EDC lights and this one is the best so far!! I use it everyday for something. I’ll definitely buy another one if this one quits! It’s a good size that fits your pocket and the clip is awesome! I can put it on the bill of my hat and go right to work.

good not great
I'm a bit of a flashlight nerd. I own a bunch of them. I was eager to try this model out. My daily carry is a small, single AAA flashlight. This is a small, single AA flashlight. It's bigger than my regular carry, but I own several other single, AA lights. This light is smaller and thinner, but heavier than them. This light feels heavy duty though. I'm still not sure how I feel about the button controls though. I'm accustomed to some other types of programming. This wasn't intuitive at first, and took a few minutes to figure out. It may grow on me more over time. But it doesn't necessarily feel like one I could easily give to one of my kids or wife, or lend out for a camp out and expect someone to understand the controls as easily as others. So the controls, to me, are less than ideal, but ultimately tolerable. The button click is very clear, firm, and audible. The light feels good. But there's another issue. Lights this size are not really benefited from high light outputs. This thing claims 1000 lumens. Which is a lot. But it is especially a lot in a light this size. So that's a lot of drain on a small, single battery. And it's a lot of heat to manage, which in a light this small, I don't find desirable. If using this light on high settings, it churns through battery quickly, and gets hot quickly too. A light this size should max out at 250-300 or so lumens, to not waste the battery or get too hot. Maybe they need to better insulate it as well. This is a good light. But it feels like they did a little too much with it. Simplifying it would make it better. It doesn't need 5 light modes. (Lo, Med, Hi, Flash, SOS) I hate lights having all that nonsense to click through. It should have 2 settings max. A low around 10-40 lumens, and a high 250-300 lumens. It would get tons of use, not get too hot, be easy for all end users, and ultimately become a better light. This is a decent light. Solid. Good even. But I think it would require a knowledgeable end user to prevent this light from burning out, going bad, or becoming hot junk. It's got everything a light needs to potentially be good, but it didn't refine it well enough or simplify it enough or hold back enough, to do it quite right. At the price point, there's other lights I'd consider first. Glad to have checked it out though. It'll get used still, just maybe not as often as some others. I like that it comes with an extra O ring, a lanyard, and a rechargeable battery. That adds value to the price point as well.
