This is the same as the original, but it's also wrong like the original.The fitment between the filter lip and the vacuum cleaner is wrong. It is necessary to get some thin (1/32") gasket material (automotive parts) and cut out a ring and fit it over the filter, under the 3 retaining teeth but over the edge. Otherwise your filter won't seal to the vacuum and fine dust - exactly the kind this filter is meant to capture - will escape.There's a video on Youtube on how to do this if you search for Dirt Devil Hand Vac 2.0 issues and resolutions.One contractor made the Dirt Devil Hand Vac 2.0, and another one made this filter.

Fits my Dirt Devil perfectly and filters as well as the original filter did before it needed to be replaced.

Haven't used it yet, haven't worn out the original. This is a backup.
