I had been thinking about buying my own machine for quite sometime. I had been renting them prior to this. I am so glad I went ahead and bought this machine. I've used it several times so far and am very very pleased. The machine is easy to use and the chocolate is beautifully tempered. I bought this particular version as I wanted my machine to have a temperature display so I know where I am in the tempering cycle. This machine will keep the tempered chocolate overnight!! And while the description of the machine says it holds up to 1 1/2 lbs of chocolate they give you an extra baffle with holes in it that will allow you to add an additional couple of ounces. So all in all I'm a happy customer. Oh, one more thing...the customer service at Chocovision is excellent. I called because at first the "holey baffle" stumped me as there was no explanation for it in the manual. Have to go dip now.....

One word: Wow! I love my ChocoVision. It works exactly as advertised. ChocoVision takes the guesswork out of tempering chocolate. As a novice I've made batch upon batch of chocolate truffles with this baby without having to concern myself about tempering. Instead, I can focus my efforts on mastering fillings.ChocoVision has some excellent tutorials on YouTube and I recommend you start there.By the way, my ChocoVision was delivered without the plastic splashguard. I contacted their product support and ChocoVision was all over it. I even received a personal email from the company vice president. The splashguard arrived had it several days later. Excellent. They do take customer support seriously - a welcome rarity.

Wel I am sure the machine would have worked well if it had started. However it failed to start as the voltage was different from the Australian voltage. I had to return it.

It turned out that the unit was not fit for 220V, despite an earlier comment which suggested it was OK on this voltage.We returned the unit and are awaiting refund.

This machine is so incredibly easy to use. I don't regret the huge amount of money it cost me as it allows me to get more sleep - before this machine I had many late nights trying to temper/re-temper chocolate! Not any more!!

Have used an earlier version of this, and am glad this is quieter and solid. Would recommend this for anyone.

This chocolate tempering machine does exactly what it's supposed to do, I love it and would I definitely recommend it!
