I bought this Food Dehydrator for my son as he prefers dried fruits more than fresh fruits. Since got it, I have used for several times, no any issues at all. Usually I set up 2-3 hours, the dried fruit texture and taste are so good that we can finish all of them. My boy asks me to pack some in the lunch box as his after lunch snack. Good buy:-)

It works well. My only worry is that the trays seem a ltttle bit fragile, but with careful use that wouldn't be a problem. I'd recommend this to anyone seeking a cheap dehydrator - I think if you were going to be using it a lot you might want a more expensive model, but for my limited dehydrating needs this is just the job.

I use this to dry chicken for my dogs (for treats) and have found it really simple to use and to keep clean. I'm also planning to use it for herbs and perhaps orange slices for Christmas. A really good buy.

I don't know what the plastic trays are made from, but they have all cracked after 2-3 three uses. This is really disappointing as the dehydrator itself works really well. We have used it for apples, tomatoes and even crisping up crackers.

It takes too long to dehydrate and leaves an unusual taste

So easy to use, just a few button clicks and off it goes. Good for a beginner (like me) and im sure it will suit someone who dehydrates regularly
