These batteries charge and balance well with my Tenergy charger. Be sure your ESC is Lipo ready, and is in LiPo mode. If you do drain a LiPo too low, it might be impossible to recover or charge the battery. I am a huge fan of Deans connectors, I always adapt to it or solder on new connections when I can. The terminals on the battery are well soldered and secured, and fit multiple of my ESCs without issue. The batteries do get warm after bashing around for 30mins or so. But no swelling as of yet. Despite jumping, crashing, somehow they are holding up. Bonus? They came with stickers...

Excellent batteries for RC bashing! They fit great into my short course trucks. The batteries also work very well for long trail truck excursions. (2-3 miles) Ovonic is my preferred battery brand. Charge capacity is spot on. Battery life is also great as long as they aren't over discharged and stored long term with a proper storage charge. Recommend these to all of your friends!

When a new batch of OVONIC batteries came up for review, I was very excited. Their packs have exceptional performance and great value for money. You cannot go wrong with this brand; they punch way above their weight class.The electrical characteristics of these packs are satisfactory, the main standout being the capacity, which measured about 5% over the rating. The internal resistance is slightly higher than other OVONIC packs I’ve tested, but is still very good for the value.The included cell checker is useful for a quick “at-a-glance” voltage measurement, or as a low voltage alarm. Its readings are low resolution, but reasonably accurate. About ±15 millivolts on each cell.
