Grease up the inside and outside and tap it into the flywheel, no problem. Had a hiccup with getting the input shaft into it but only because the clutch disc sagged down out of alignment with this guy, my fault. Otherwise a quality piece and fast shipping, needed it ASAP. Review: Worked with my stock 1.6l 92 (NA) Miata's flywheel. - I was replacing the clutch in my 1.6l 1992 Miata (NA) and replaced the bearings as well. This pilot bearing fit the stock flywheel just fine. I stuck it in the freezer for a day and was able to knock it in pretty easily using the a socket of the correct size.I only have about 1k miles on it so I can't really speak to its longevity. FYI, apparently the 1.8l flywheel and clutch bolts right up to the 1.6l transmission but I haven't tested this myself.
