Review: Good kind of spooky - Cursed Mountain is a survival horror puzzle and problem solving game. Players will take the role of Frank Simmons as he tracks down his brother, who went missing on a trak into the Himalayas to find an ancient Buddhist Artifact. The game started out slow, but creepy, and only continue to build up from there. The setting is so perfect for a horror game that, in hindsight, it's really shocking that no one has thought to set a survival horror game in this setting before. Filled with dark graphics, ghost monks, and more. It is kind of like playing a version of Resident Evil.
Review: Deep Silver knows how to scare ya - Too many games today are commericalized and not enough are done for the art form. Cursed Mountain delivers where other fail or whatever. That first ghost scared the daylights out of me =) I got this game on a whim I know for fact the Deep Silver developer guy talking about this game over at Gamespot video had me laughing. 3rd party games on the Wii is what makes the Wii great. Looking for fast twitch muscle spazams or First person shooter games don't buy Cursed Mountain. Similar to RE4 in a way but I only played it for a hour the background music or ambient music is worth the price alone.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very unique, but a little bit boring.

I'll start by saying that I liked this game enough to play through it all the way, though for the last third of the game I did feel a bit like "is it over yet?!" The concept is great, the voice acting is really good for the budget I'm sure they had, and the experience does feel a bit like (perhaps) what it would feel to climb a mountain, which is what they were going for. That said, the tediousness and repetitiveness of climbing a mountain are also present. The enemies are all kinda the same, and it isn't that fun to kill them after a while, even with the weapon upgrades you get. I gave the game 4 stars because at least they tried to do something different, and I'm glad I played the game. That said I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to a friend. If you play a ton of Wii games and are running out of options or looking for something you won't find in another game, this is definitely worth a play-through, but if you're like me and only play one a month or so, there are probably better options. The last two games I played were Resident Evil 4 and Kirby's Epic Yarn, both of which blew this gaming experience out of the water. The price is right though, can't complain about a $10 game.
