This is by far the best hair spray, hands down. It is not sticky and holds in wind with light spraying. Does not tear your hair when brushing out. I have never had a spray that was this great. If you like to just give it an all over spray this is for you. I use to spray and spray again but not with this. It’s wonderful.

I have been using Paul Mitchell freeze and shine for probably over 20 years. As I’m getting older, my hair is falling out and getting real thin and the freeze and shine doesn’t seem to keep it in place anymore. I tried this hairspray and wow!!! I was impressed at how it holds my hair in place. A couple of light quick sprays, and it will hold all day through work, rain, humidity, wind. It doesn’t move! Lol like other reviewers said, yes, there is a little bit of spray that gets on your counter and what not, but that’s to be expected. and I find that with hairsprays, you should always leave the cap on when not in use. It seems to help with the sprayer getting clogged up. It also has a nice light scent which I really like! If you want your hair to stay in place all day, give this one a try I think you’ll like it!!! 😉

Love the hair spray but it’s very expensive on Amazon, I got it at a beauty supply store for $17.56 .

Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Firm Spray had been my choice for many years. Of all the sprays I have used, I keep coming back to this one. If the ingredients don't change, I won't either. I have fine, thin and limp hair and to have it hold, I am careful with the amount of conditioner used, then apply a gel, then paste and then this spray. It works well if I continue with this routine but have to keep reminding myself to stay light on the conditioner. The downside is it's a bit messy, leaving residue on countertops, and floors. Also, it contains hydrolyzed Protein which can be an issue for those sensitive to gluten, like myself. Another concern is that the nozzle begins to clog after the canister is about half empty. My solution to this is putting a small amount of water in the cap, tipping the canister upside down in the cap and leaving it for the next use. Works every time. The upside is this spray has a light scent, holds well considering the changes in the weather and the use of other products. I also like the large canister, which is 95 ounces, which lasts about 4 months, The price is right for the value.
