Great side story and prequel event before the next section in book 9 takes off.

This book tells a lot of the back story of Tatsuya's and Miyuki's past. As well as the Yatsuba family.

Going to finish all the series wish they couldMake an anime adaptation of the new books. Story has so much potential

Same deal as the previous Yen Mahouka LNs. Story itself is awesome, physical print quality is superb. But I'm still baffled by some off the translations/localizations. Throughout the book there are several instances where sentences seem to be saying the opposite of what they should (some are missing a not others have a double negative). For localization, "ani" became "him" or "brother" and later "oniisama" becomes "Brother" and sometimes "Tatsuya" ("Tatsuya" was used in the previous LNs). It'll be interesting in a couple of years to see how "Tatsuya-sama" will be translated in the later volumes. There's also "Scorching Halloween", which may be a proper translation, but it just seems weird to use present tense . And "gram" as in "gram demolition" being "program"...but that one I can let slide as maybe it was that was it's original intent. Overall, still readable but not without noticeable quirks.

For the book itself: Received and it was in perfect condition. The books are decent quality.For the content: I enjoyed reading it. I'm assuming that if you're looking into Vol. 8 you probably already know what the series is about.

The story of how he lost his emotions and how bitchy and cold his mother is. It truly explains the history.

Finally! I started to read this a long time ago but lost the ability so I bought it and regret nothing. Better than what I hoped for.

This is the first series I started reading a light novel for and I don’t regret that decision, looking forward to the animated adaption!

Good read, I was able to imagine the whole thing! It gave me the understanding of where they came from and their sufferings that made them who they are

Una entregamas de la historia del "onii-sama" y la himouto con brocon extremo (al nivel de la de onii-AI), pes este volumen es interesante el ver como nacion este afan de miyuki x tatsuya.

Não poderia escolher outra classificação, se não, excelente.Eu adorei a animação e, ler esta parte, até então inédita, da estória foi muito bom.Além disto descobrir diversas coisas sobre o início da estória e como Tatsuya se torna o guardião de Miyuki foi extremamente recompensador.O único ponto negativo, se posso assim dizer, é que o volume é muito pequeno.Estou ansiando por mais e, já fiz a pre-venda do volume 9.Para todos que gostaram da animação e, querem saber o que acontece logo após o término da mesma, este volume inicia o arco logo após os eventos do anime.

Loved to learn more background info about the Okinawa incident but my heart bled for the Yotsuba Clan... I really wish the whole clan will have a happy and satisfying ending later on... I cannot wait for the rest of the volumes to appear. We are still on vol. 9 and there are 23 volumes out with another coming on this Nov. I cannot wait to read all the volumes. I have never been sooo excited and hooked! Thank you thank you! This story is brilliant.

Ohne diesen Band ist das Verhalten der Geschwister eigentlich unverständlich und auch die aktuelle Situation ist nur dank der hier eingeführten Vorgeschichte einigermaßen nachvollziehbar ;=) Liest sich gewohnt gut, auch wenn die englische Übersetzung so einige Schwächen hat.
