Have you ever been somewhere and there’s just no pen in sight? Not anymore. I already own a couple gadgets from this brand and know how durable their stuff is, so when I saw they made this pen — which, by the way, is also a pencil — I had to grab one. If you're into EDC, this pairs perfectly with a pocket notebook and fits comfortably in your pocket. It has a sturdy clip for securing it to your pocket or bag, and it’s extremely lightweight so you barely notice it’s there. The ballpoint ink writes smoothly, just as you'd expect. I haven’t used the pencil function much yet, but it works well in my quick tests. Bonus points for the extra pencil tips the company includes — a thoughtful touch in case you run out. If you want something compact, functional, and reliable, this is a great addition to your everyday carry.

Man, I've wanted a quality EDC pen that's neat AND writes well... most pens are one or the other. The O'pen mini 2 is both AND satisfyingly fidgety. I eagerly wait for someone to need to sign a receipt at work so I can show it off, and Oh do I. Such a neat little pen, smaller than expected, but actually perfect size, fits ALL my shirt pockets. It writes SUUUUPER smooth, for sure my nicest writing pen, and 100% coolest pen I've owned in top of it. The fact that it's ALSO fidgety, gives me 3 total reasons never to leave home without it. Seems pretty durable, I've dropped it a few times already, no damage (adds character if it did though, wouldn't care as long as it still functioned). The weight is really nice for how small it is. I just can't get over how it's literally the perfect size for my hand even though it's pretty small. I'd pay more, honestly. $20 is really worth it if you want to spend money on a smooth writing nice EDC fidgety pen. Get it.

I have 4 of these. One in my pocket at all times with my knife and flashlight and others in various bags. Pen on one side, weird pencil that never seems to run out on the other. Although it does come with extra replacement leads. Its small so you can store it anywhere. It has bolt action which pleases my fidgeting fingers, and it holds up to my abuse. Plus, it just looks cool.

Olight quality. It fits in my wallet that I keep in my back pocket daily. Clips inside without damaging my designer leather wallet or pen. I have and have written with many nice pens. Smooth “bolt action”design keeps pen a pencil in place until needed and writes great. The size and quality gives me the availability to have a EDC pen/pencil!

Great pen/pencil. It pairs perfectly with my new canvas field notes notebook. It writes smoothly and is really a perfect size. I have big hands and I worried a little that it may be too small but it’s not. Also the price is right for its dual use as a pencil as well. Love it and really impressed so far!

Great little pen/pencil. Sturdy, well-made switching mechanism, it's compact (mini as advertised) so the reviews complaining about the size are baffling, especially those saying the pencil "isn't made for men". Writing instruments are non-gendered, and if you have very large hands, you might not want to buy a 'mini' version. The clip is perfect for my small notebook I always carry. However I'm taking off a star because the pencil and ink refills are non-standard. The pencil tip is great, I have other pencils like this but the tip/base is much larger, so it will be more difficult to replace these. Props to them for including 2 extra tips though. I wouldn't use this as a primary device for extended longhand use, but it should last most folks quite awhile.

Writes well, nice feel, seems well made, good quality. HOWEVER, it is small, "mini" is accurate. Best suited for people with very small hands, great for children, but not grown men. I wear a size 10 gloves and this pen not fun to write with. If it were two or three inches longer it would be great. A more accurate description is deserved, I gave it five stars because it is not the pens fault or a lack of quality.

Great little pen. Writes well. I have it attached to a field notes notebook. I use this on a daily basis. I don’t really ever use the pencil side but it’s a nice tough if you need a pencil. Very convenient pen to have since it’s so small.
