Exactly what I was looking for!!These are SOOOO good, but watch out, once you start eating these, you can not stop!!

These old-fashioned Jujube nougats are so much fun!! They are a bit different to chew than the traditional Brach's nougats. Those are more slippery and minty. These are marshmallow-y, but almost with a spongy circus peanut texture when you chew them, and they have little bits of fruity gummy bits randomly occurring in each, in traditional flavors- red, orange, yellow and green (I'd say cherry, orange, lemon, and lime.) The fruit pieces you just taste a hint of the flavor for those. These nougats are longish rectangle candies, generously sized, (maybe about 1.5 inches long) and beware: they are addictive! They look like fun little fruitcakes in a way. I love everything about these candies. It makes me want to know more about these, if these are the more authentic old-fashioned origins of nougat candies or if they are something modern and unusual. I will buy these again for sure!!! It is so lovely to find a candy that is a novelty to me, these really stand out to me as delightful!

Review of: JUJUBE NOUGAT Candy 1 lb – Individually Wrapped with Jelly Fruit Pieces, Bulk Soft and Chewy Candies in Resealable BagFor me, these nougat candies bring back some fond memories of similar candy I had in my younger years … and for another family member these nougat candies were a taste treat that the family member had never had before.Both for me and for the other family member, these JUJUBE NOUGAT Candies were just amazingly good.From a consistency standpoint, I kind of think of these nougat candies as being a rather firm version of a marshmallow, with the added bonus of bits of gummy/candied fruit thrown in for some extra goodness (though I would have liked some almonds or other type of nuts thrown in for an even extra layer of taste).And, a bit of a surprise, unlike other nougat candies these Jujube candies are not overly sweet … they have just the right amount of sweetness to make them tasty..I do like that each candy is individually wrapped, and that the 1-bag bag of candy comes in a resealable bag (which, I admit, is not slowing me down). The combination of the two keeps them fresh, and keeps them from sticking together. A nice touch.I actually looked at the bag just after I’d finished breakfast and thought … too much temptation … these are going to have to go into hiding otherwise they are going to be gone way too soon.

not too sweet. good nougat flavor.

I've had plenty of nougat candy before, but not with fruit-flavored jellies in them before. I was pleasantly surprised by the bust of fruit flavor that comes through when you hit one of these jellies (and there are a lot of them so each bit will get you one). Each color has its own flavor like pineapple for yellow and lime for green. The flavors are intense for the fruit and subtle for the nougat. The nougat has a nice pliability and isn't to hard nor is it sticky or too soft. It's easy to eat without being too messy and has a good sweetness and chewy texture. Each nougat is individually wrapped so they will stay fresh. This was a very unique form of nougat candy for me and I really like it.

Great taffy-like texture, it's like a firm marshmallow with cut-up jujubes in them. They definitely get stuck in my teeth and they are sooo sweet. Individually wrapped in clear plastic and they're easy to remove from the wrapper.They look exactly like they do in the pictures and taste exactly as you would expect them to. Just be sure to get some toothpicks to pick them out of your teeth!

I've been snacking on this candy, and it’s grown on me the more I eat it. The texture is soft and taffy-like with chewy fruit bits that add a fun contrast. I love that each candy is individually wrapped, which keeps them fresh and easy to share. Plus, they don’t stick to your teeth, making them even more enjoyable to eat.

Holy nostalgia....BUT BETTER! I don't remember eating these as a kid but they trigger core memories from holidays with family for some reason. I am so glad I found these - INDIVIDUALLY wrapped is a huge bonus. These are so much better than I expected. The chew is my favorite - like taffy but doesn't stick to you teeth. The smell - wow - like dots/jujube's. The taste - like a stick of jujube candy without any sticking in your teeth. So good! Kid and adult approved! I think this is our new snack addiction...
