Very well made with clear instructions. Need to make sure all burrs are removed and gears etc. are waxed and tested before moving on to next assembly instruction. Quite complex but very rewarding to do and works beautifully if care is taken with the assembly. Highly recommended.

Assembly was medium to hard so make sure the instructions are read carefully and make use of the QR code videos. It works really well when finished and if pieces are not quite right, the other pieces will compensate. Looks really good when finished.

Puzzle box was good fun building, but beware some parts are easily broken. If you do break a part and cannot repair it, go on ugears web page for free spare parts.

Hard to fault Ugesrs. Take your time, follow instructions and keep testing movement

I bought this as a birthday gift. It comes securely boxed, with full instructions and the parts are, as far as I can see, sturdy wood. I have not interfered with it too much, as it is to be a present, but it looks very intriguing and I'm sure the recipient will like it.

Quite expensive but well worth the money. Great fun to make. The engineering is amazing, precision manufactured with clear instructions. You need strong fingers and patience. The finished book/box is good to look at as well as being a practical item. Hats off to the designers of this brilliant puzzle box.

Seeing the pieces go together, how the dials all work, every movement, this is a great peace to build, it does hold a few things, and is a great design,

Lots of fun to assemble. 2 pieces that didn’t have extras, broke (because I wasn’t patient enough) and I was worried I would be stuck. I used the pieces as is and the mechanisms still work fine. Look forward to my next ugears project.

Ein beeindruckender Bausatz. Wunderbare Konstruktion, präzise geschnitten - aber nicht leicht zu bauen (Teile vorsichtig lösen und mit Geduld und Gefühl zusammenstecken - und: unbedingt an die Anleitung halte!. Aus meiner Sicht nichts für jugendliche Ungeduld.

Ugears si riconferma un’ottima marca per questi puzzle in legno. Il libro è esteticamente fantastico e funziona correttamente una volta seguite passo passo le istruzioni. È di media difficoltà, non ci sono moltissime parti complicate. La parte più importante resta sempre estrarre con cura i pezzi dalle assi in legno (una volta rotti, incollarli è difficile) e lubrificare bene i componenti che faranno da meccanismo. Le istruzioni sono chiare e con, nei momenti più delicati, video tutorial Ugears ufficiali su YouTube. È un’ottima idea regalo anche una volta montato.
