Performance and Comfort
I traded out a Selle Italia Gel Flow for this saddle. My old saddle was hurting me on long rides, and particularly when riding over rough road surface. The comfort from the Brooks C15 carved is tremendous — even over the rough surfaces and pot holes. Yes, this saddle is 150 grams heavier than the Selle Italia Gel Flow but I never felt that weight difference on the ride on my high end carbon fibre bike. With more comfort, and therefore less fatigue, the slight weight gain does not harm performance. All bottoms are not equal but the Brooks C15 Carved works wonders for me!
