These are strong and sturdy. They telescope out really far. I love the little groves on the handle too hold out steady. Having individual colors and an odd number is nice. The top protectors make storing and transporting easier. The only thing I would add is the option to easily spin it using a small gear on the front (we have a set like that and love that feature).

Many a times when camping out we find a stick to put the marshmallows on to heat them, or at home we put them in the fireplace using a skewer. Now-a-days we can sit at home with a little propane fire pit and a specially made marshmallow fork. These are such forks.Designed to be special for marshmallows and hot dogs, these forks are designed to roast two at a time. And who wants to wait for marshmallow number two.The description says they are: "high quality power welded forks use non-toxic 18/8 304 stainless steel ". I was not sure what 304 stainless steal was, so I looked it up. It is a high quality, most widely used and versatile type of stainless steel. These stainless steel forks are used a lot in cookware and has special qualities like:1) really sturdy, and2) made to last a long time.These long colored handles make it fun to keep track of whose fork is whose and I like the handle grips. Keeps our hands free from the stainless steel heating up and burning us like it does using a wire hanger or metal skewers, as it did in the old days.I can recommend these for quality and price.

We used these this past week on a camping trip and overall they worked great. The storage bag was a nice touch and big enough for that and some older ones we had. I appreciate that these extended longer than our old ones, and roasting marshmallows was a breeze. I do wish the prongs were closer to allow both to poke into a marshmallow and keep it from just spinning around once it gets hot. The distance is good for hot dogs and such, or if you want to do multiple marshmallows at the same time, but kind of silly for a single marshmallow. Overall, I like these better than our old ones and will happily use them :)

We got 5 of these things for only $8?! These are AMAZING. Haven't used them camping, but they are for the firepit on our covered, semi enclosed patio. I love they come in a case bag and they are so compact so I can store them outside in the patio storage chest. They do not slide from the position you place them in. may be hard bridging smaller dogs over the prongs in a camp fire. Nice and long so you don't burn your hands!

These are lightweight telescoping skewers. They had a good set of examples demonstrating weights and why usage should say under 1lb. I like the fact these came in a small bag for easy storage between uses. Will make them easy to pack away in my camping box. They easily and smoothly telescoped in and out. They are really really long. I am used to most skewers having a wood handle vs plastic, but the fact they are plastic is likely why they are longer than the others. I do like the bright colors of the handles, making them easy to know whose are whose. The price is also nice.
