HDMI Media Player, Blue Mini 1080p Full-HD Ultra HDMI MP4 Player for -MKV/RM/ MP4 / AVI etc- HDD USB Flash Drive/HDD and SD Card

I am a bit infatuated with this player, but I’ll try my best to be objective. Most of the time this device works well. I am using it mainly for viewing MP4 video on my TV through the HDMI jack with a 64g USB thumb/flash drive and when it works it works very well, with full rich audio and a vivid display. But it can be quirky too, and unfortunately support is slim to nonexistent. A few of my files would not play at all, and I have no idea why. On a few others there was a picture but no audio and for those I had to do quite a bit of trial and error experiments with the recording software I was using but after awhile I figured out what I was doing wrong. The remote control seems to have a limited range, and it apparently it uses the same frequency as my Sirius radio and turns it on too when I hit the power button. Overall, I am quite pleased with this unit, and particularly happy that I’ve found an alternative to burning DVD-R’s. It will come in very handy for travel. Recommended...if you have a slightly high tolerance for it’s idiosyncrasies.

Needed something we could use to stream videos and pictures to a HDMI large screen at a restaurant. Bought two of these and they worked perfectly. While I don't think I could connect an External USB drive without using the included AC adapter, I was able to power this unit using USB power from the TV while using an SD card to hold all our videos and pictures. Allowed us to run a continuous loop with our media. Simple intuitive interface with good options and easy to use remote control.

Received today returning tomorrow. Tried to play 6 different USB drives containing MP4 & AVI files none would play, the menu showed the files on the drives but when I would select one to play the screen would flash and the unit would go back to the home screen, it did this every time. All USB drives work fine in my laptop & desktop.

This is the 2nd time I've bought this player. My review has not changed and I am almost completely satisfied with it. The video quality is excellent from all outputs. The players size makes placement very unobtrusive so it doesn't take away from the visual aspect of your setup. It responds from the remote from a good distance and at all reasonable angles.My only issues with this one is, as before, there is no universal remote available and if you lose or damage it the only recourse is to purchase another unit or a similar one that's is built on the same electronics (there are several at different price points).The other is the recognized file formats. My original one (it still works) read everything I threw at it except 4K, which I really don't use much. However this one has problems with H.265 files. It must be noted that it does state those are not compatible. Why my previous one did, who knows.All in all, this is an excellent media player . solid in construction and operation.

Anyone looking for a serviceable media player that loops videos without a break in-between will be as impressed as I with this unit. It worked perfect and was easy to set up. I may change my mind later if it breaks down but I tried this as a last minute effort and ordered multiple units for an art project. The units have been running for almost a week now without problem. I suspect there's not much to getting media players to do what artists want them too, at least with smaller-scale files for particular settings. Its just a matter of simplifying the interface, which this unit seems to do perfectly. It looks good too! I think the key is the remote has a repeat button that allows for looping, whereas others are built into the display interface and never function the way you want them to.The other remarkable thing is how fast this company sent these out. I ordered the first on a saturday and it arrived on sunday (wow!) and tried it again two more times with the same turnaround. The only way it could have been faster is if it was being sold by my next door neighbor and they walked it over to my apartment.Good stuff, lets hope they hold up, but at least they cost less than most main courses at a nice restaurant

I had an upcoming conference where I needed to play a MP4 file in a continuous loop on a plain computer monitor with no laptop. The monitor has no media capabilities. I hooked up the HDMI Media Player and plugged in my USB and I had instant access to my media files on the monitor via the remote and was able to play a continuous looping video on the monitor. Extremely happy with the quality and results.

It's good for watching movies and listening to music but you can't go over 32gb when it comes to videos it doesn't read all videos if you do

Newer TVs allow straight usage of thumb drives - older ones don't, even if they have a USB slot. Many of the simple cable converters don't work. This one receives the thumb drive and uses the HDMI port to the TV. The only drawback - and it's a very small one - is that it takes a few moments to scan the thumb drive when powering on. Easily preventable by leaving it on.
