I bought this as a first year grad student who just moved into independent housing. The tool set is very compact and well-equipped. I can easily measure out room for items, easily assemble furniture, and then go straight into tightening the screws on my eye glasses. I like the fixed screwdrivers which are super useful for standard screws in the kitchen. Would highly recommend for someone who wants all the minimally necessary tools around without feeling like you're going broke.

the case is kind of weak inside and i expect it to stop holding tools after 20 or so uses. tools are not all bad. allen keys are low quality and metric. pliers and crescent wrench are pretty good quality. screwdrivers feel good but not sure if the tips are hardened or soft. hammer is a toy almost in size and quality. doubt it will put a 3 inch nail in a 2x4, but maybe.

Great for the price, this was a teacher gift and she loved it.
