From 8-Bit to Blazing Speeds - This SSD is Next-Level!
Okay, I remember when 64KB felt cutting-edge, but this Addlink A93 4TB monster makes my childhood tech look like cave drawings. This thing is absurdly fast - we're talking 7400MB/s speeds that make game loads disappear and file transfers feel like teleportation. Why I'm obsessed: ✔ PS5 Ready - Slid right in with the included heatsink (no thermal throttling nonsense) ✔ Game-Changing Capacity - 4TB means I'll never delete another game just to install a new one ✔ SLC Cache Magic - Keeps those insane speeds consistent during big file moves The heatsink is sleek and stays cool under pressure - perfect for marathon gaming sessions. Installation took literal minutes (M.2 slots are the best thing to happen to storage since the floppy disk died). For anyone debating: If you're still rocking a Gen 3 drive or worse, a hard drive (bless you), this is like upgrading from a bicycle to a spaceship. Worth every penny for load time alone. Final Thought: My inner 8-bit kid is crying tears of joy at how far we've come. 10/10 would upgrade again.

Great cost efficient nvme drive
I picked up the Addlink G55 1TB to upgrade my gaming rig and was honestly blown away by the performance, especially for the price. I was a bit skeptical at first since it's not one of the "big name" brands, but it delivered PCIe Gen 5 speeds that are right up there with the much more expensive drives. Installation was super easy, and the drive was recognized right away. I tested it on a PCIe 4.0 board and still got read speeds close to 7000MB/s, which is more than enough for gaming, video editing, or just fast boot times. One thing to note: this model doesn’t come with a heatsink. It runs fine for everyday use, but if you’re planning to do a lot of large file transfers or heavy workloads, you might want to add a heatsink or get the G55H version. Overall, this is a solid SSD that gives you top-tier performance without the premium price. Would definitely buy again

Great choice
Works great in my son’s PS5 for upgrading the memory. Quick and responsive, super easy to install.

Quality product.
It's fast, reliable, and overall good. Only issue I had was that it didn't come with any screws. I said I'd buy some eventually but it's still held by duct tape. If you buy, make sure you have screws.

Great SSD & a Great Value! 👍
First off, this is a great price to performance option for upgradeable storage for your PS5, it's on par with the bigger brands in performance and undercuts the competition by quite a bit (anywhere from $30-$50). So, that's definitely a major plus, as well the fact that you don't have the hassle of having to add a heatsink since it's already preinstalled (though it's really not overly complicated, I've done so before with my previous 1TB SSD I had installed before). Nothing too crazy, you go through the steps and everything goes together without a hitch, works perfectly fine and I've successfully tripled my storage. Definitely not running out of space anytime soon, thank god! Now, to address previous reviews docking it for not reaching the "up to 7200mb read speeds" in the PS5, just as a heads up, Sony has the PS5 bottleneck the read and write speeds with ANY SSD that can exceed the minimum 5500mb requirements to whatever the current allowable read and write speeds are. So, don't go expecting to get that 7200mb speeds at this point. It's NOT the fault of the SSD and the manufacturer, that's on Sony and the PS5 at this moment in time. The SSD works plenty fine as is regardless. Just a heads up to anyone letting that one detail hold you up on whether to get this SSD upgrade for your PS5, it doesn't matter what speeds you can get up to it, it's what the current maximum speed is set for with the PS5 at this given moment. Highly recommend this one, especially at this price point, the convenience of use and performance. Definitely grab when you have the chance, prices have never been better for M.2 NVME SSD storage and this one trumps the majority of the competition! 👍

It works an ton of storage
Easy to put in an holds a lot more games if your are playing cod I would leave it on main hard drive it slows it a little but all other games it’s great to have

Gets the job done on the Ps5. Good for the price point.
Packaging and product condition were perfect. Installation was about a 5 minute job. Read speeds clocked at 5450 once installed and configured on the Ps5. Don't seem to notice any decrease in gameplay performance. Write speed is incredibly slow, though. Didn't realize this was DRAM-less when I purchased, but that was my mistake. Still performs admirable at the $117 price point for 2TB.

Blazing Fast Storage With a Premium Price Tag
I installed this drive in my gaming rig and the speed difference was immediately noticeable — games load almost instantly and video editing projects render much faster. It runs cool even without a heatsink, which surprised me since most high‑end drives get hot. My kids love that Minecraft worlds pop up in seconds now, though I did notice the cost is higher than other SSDs with slightly lower speeds. For anyone who wants cutting‑edge performance without worrying about overheating, it’s a solid choice, but definitely more of an investment than budget options.

Love it so far! I've had troubles in the past trying to upgrade my storage in my PS4 and PS4 Pro. The hard drives would burn out about a year later, so hopefully I don't run into that problem with this one. Installation was easy. The toughest part about the installation was taking the side plate off the PS5. I really like the fact that no system files need to install on the drive so you can take advantage of the full 2TB. The loading speeds are pretty much the same as the default drive but moving from the default drive to this one was really quick. About the read speed, they advertise 7400 but as you can see in my pics, that's the PC read speed. The PS5 speed is 6500. That's still 1000 over the suggested speed though. I think that's the limit maybe. I've seen other drives advertise higher speeds too but when installed in the PS5 it caps around 6500. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase. We'll see how it is in about a year if it's still running or not hahah

As a first effort at upgrading my PC, it couldn't have been more simple. Fitted to motherboard, cloned OS across, old hard drive formatted to be for storage, it's all out there in YouTube land. The difference between this M.2 SSD and my HDD disk is night and day, literally. From a cold start I'm on Windows in under 10 seconds, on my favourite game 10 seconds after that. Brilliant bit of kit, cheaper than the big names, stable and fast. I now have 1TB of storage HDD and 1TB of M. 2 SSD for windows and games and anything else. Just do it.

I bought it in a time where these parts where more expensive. They seemed to have droped in price a lot. I use it as a backup drive for sll the family photos and it performs well. Very fast compared to regular ssd drives. Drive is 6 months old now and no complaints.
